I was a punk in the 80s with a Mohawk. I’m mid 50s now and I hated Country music until about 3 years ago when it just sort of ‘hit me’ and I started loving it. Hank 3 is my favorite Country singer (especially the song Cecil Brown).

You can tell he finds peace of mind in the hardcore scene. Being country and loving country is the guy's birthright, but the punks always accepted him for WHO he is, not just his namesake. RIP Hardcore 1981-1996

Hank iii is one of the most talented multi genre artist of all time, as a hank 3 fan and a musician I am astounded at the amount of instruments he can play so well and his multiple music genres, metal, punk and outlaw country. from his stint in superjouint to everyone of his albums. He is of the most talented multi genre artist of all time. His influences are so musical diverse which is so respectable. He is musically and in terms of soul and pain the reincarnation of his grandfather.

Wow! You can totally hear that he gives it his all in every song but hearing him talk about how he gets ready is still mind-blowing. It's to make a magnum opus, the devotion is inspiring.. depression can't take it away apparently.

I have enjoyed all 3 Hanks. Hank the 3rd is totally awesome. I have always loved the Navajo, and am happy to have found Kody Dayish and his family's music and videos.

Wherever this talented musician and composer's life takes him, his fans support him and wish him success in his every endeavor. I am hoping that someday his road will take him to San Antonio TX where I am certain he will play to great acclaim, his own songs and some of his family's favorites. Hank 3 has ALWAYS had his own voice, his own message and he speaks and sings for a disenfranchised people who are mostly silent; complaining and whining are not Appalatian traits. My dear one was one of last of his kind; Scots-Irish-Welsh and Mingo from WV. We don't have royalty in America, but if we did my man and his brother would have had blood so blue no money could ever buy it, poor as dirt though his family was. His 7 times great grand-daddy was given the patent to settle WV by the English crown. He was history living and breathing and is no more. He was no fortunate son, Vietnam claimed his youth and later his life from a whopping dose of Agent Orange. He died fighting for his Veteran brothers againt govt. lies.Like H3 my man was a man of integrity and purpose. Let such men ALWAYS have a clear voice that speaks to our minds and hearts.

Grandfather will always be an icon but I love Hank III. He definitely found his niche but it's also nice when he channels grandpa.
