I totally agree that no one should come out until they are ready, however, don't invite your partner to Christmas and ask them to put on a ridiculous, painful charade where your partner's significance to your life is repeatedly being denied just because you want them in your presence. I've had exes who weren't out and we had two separate holidays. One where she was with her family and one for us. I have also been through this bullshit and it's for the birds.

That actually would be an awesome plot twist, but it's Christmas so the truth will come out, her family will be upset because she didn't tell them, maybe struggle to accept it, come to the understanding that family is the most important thing and everything will turn out slightly soggy peaches and cream. I've seen this same movie probably 10 times if you count both gay and lesbian versions of it. Only once have I even seen the person actually break up with the person who lied to them and lied to their family and asked them to hide the whole time they were there. They still got back together but it was after a period of time and required actual change on the part of the other person, not just a tepid I'm sorry. *sigh*

Agreed. If your partner isn't ready to be open then they don't have to be forced to, but you also don't have to stay becuase it's mentally and emotionally draining for you also. It brings the feeling of you being something your partner is ashamed of or ashamed of fundamentally being who you or they are. You also shouldn't be emotionally guilted or FORCED to stay with the partner not ready to accept themselves as they are or you as you are. @@mytearsricochvt True, but she could at least be honest with her girlfriend, no one is going to pressure you to come out if you are not ready but been honest with your partner is the groundwork of any healthy relationship.

it’s just a fun christmas movie, does everything have to be critiqued down to the last detail?

@@sgtmian yes. Also: according to you, it’s just a “fun Christmas movie” - why do you spend that much energy on defending its merit?

Kristen Stewart has grown as an actress. So far, from the clip, this is going to be a great movie. It's hilarious. Great content, writers, cast, and storyline. We all 💘 her from Twilight series and crave additional movies but as she grown creatively I can see her future a little clearer. Some of her other projects didn't catch my attention but this I'm looking forward to it. The cast seems great together. Can we just applaud the fabulous gays in this movie? Yaaaasssss 🍯! I'm here 4 it. Finally a Christmas movie with talent, personality, authenticity, and creativity. No more straight boring movies. Let's get into the humor and fabulousness In seeing. Happy Early Holidays to every 1.
