I use this gel with Uncle Funky’s Daughter underneath and topped off with I Creat Hold. Love it. I had no flakes, but I’m not heavy handed. It only takes a little of the I Create Hold. My hair was moisturized and lasted all week.

This is one of my favorite gels. I love the whole line by TGIN I would suggest coating the hair with Mielle Organics Honey Leave in conditioner first , Pantene hydrating oil then I'll then use this gel..I never have flakes and my 4 A curls loves it. Works very well on my hair. ✌️

@@happycurlhappygirl I just did not expect it to look like that BUT I will say once you said it had that dry feeling I was like yup that makes sense now because my hair does the same thing if it doesn’t feel silky and moisturized on day one dry it’s a mess by day two going in a bun lol so id love to see how it does in your hair with a leave in THEN AND ONLY THEN will I purchase this because the rose water gel they have is amazing so you shouldn’t definitely try it out if you haven’t already.

I thank and salute you for taking this L so that I knew to put a leave in under this gel 😂 I used Camille Rose Aloe Butter Gel as my leave in conditioner because I saw that I needed deep moisture with this. The hold is definitely STRONG but the curls are not dry.

I have the rose water gel but paired it with their leave-in and it still gave a firm hold. Not mad at it. A little goes a long way for sure! I love Tgin products, but usually wait until they go on sale.🤣 Their leave-in is super moisturizing, so maybe it would work better with this gel. I also use the honey curls custard & daily moisturizer for braid/twist-outs.

It’s the type of gel you need to sleep w/ satin cap 😂 oh my goodness. That day 2. Definitely would try again. This gel is great, so is the moisturizer paired w/t 🤷🏽‍♀️

Chileee.. Day 2 was looking very much like “you told harpo to beat me!!😡” On a lighter note, I got their leave in and it’s ok.. I’m just like you with a preference for thick creamy leave ins and the tgin one kinda on the thin side tho. But it definitely makes my thick hair soft, I just can’t use it on its own

Their CPR protein treatment is definitely one of my faves! It's not as intense as aphogee of course which is why i like it but i definitely noticed a difference in the elasticity of my curls. good to use 1 - 2 times a month for sure

What level of heat do you use for stretching? I have the Dyson and I always feel like it’s too hot but I haven’t used it to stretch my hair. Does your hair feel dry after stretching?
