I dont understand why the seat belt cutter built into a knife. Couldn't you just use the knife blade itself to cut the seat belt.

The back side of the scraper isn't in inches, it's a scale for 1:100000 topographic map.

I was skeptical about this but decided to pick one up anyway. Not terrible for the price and even a cheap kit like this can come in handy at times. I have a much higher quality set of gear in my vehicles but decided to stick one of these kits under the seat in my vehicles. Only thing I added was a fresnel lens as a backup for my reading glasses. I also removed the foam so that I could put the knife, flashlight and spork inside the case. Will likely also replace the included cheapo batttery with a lithium ion one as they do not leak/corrode.

I bought this kit a few months ago. It was the only one my store had,,, The manager told me she got two in on the truck, and she bought the other one! HA. It was under $25 and what the heck? It is so cute and fun. Some of the items are really pretty good. This kit lives on one of my motorcycles and I'm happy to own it! Thanks for the video,, it was fun and informative. Rev
@Robertssurvivalsystems
I think it falls under that , better then nothing
@GeoffOdom-nn4ez
I bought a similar, if not the same kit of TEMU to just throw in my work vehicle. Doubt I'll ever use it as my personal cars all have bug out bags in them. The kit on TEMU was about $18.
@gladeshunter8796
I bought one of these for my son to practice his skills in the backyard . Overall it’s not bad for the money but I wouldn’t rely on it for emergencies.
I got a very similar kit from stealth angel for Christmas. I think its cute, the rod on the bracelet definitely works. None of the gear except for the ferro rod would be my go-tos. And my go to fire starter is a bic, so.. yeah. Cute kit

So, my 7-in one spork thing was not from the Gordon kit. What surprised me was it could sharpen to a decent edge, and it also held the edge better than I thought it would, so it has some hardening and tempering to it. As I mentioned in another post the spork worked better as a farro rod striker than the striker that comes with most farro rods. The knife part of the spork can make a feather stick that you can ignite with the farro rod so I think that it would be good paired with a farro rod. You have to be careful where you put your limps to get the whistle to make a decent sound.

You can use some of the para cord to tie the survival kit to the bottle carrier so you can carry the kit on your belt. I believe the credit cart tool has a can opener on it. If you are going to toss out the credit card tool thing replace it with a P-38 or P-51 can opener. Add other fire making methods. It is not a gordon one but I have one of the knife spork things. I found it makes a better farro rod striker than the ones that normally come with the farro rods.

I saw this product in another video but they didn’t show the features so I’m glad this video came out.

I bought that same kit roughly a month ago, That wire / commando saw is actually the same one that is issued in Military Survival Kits, so in that regard, no expense by the maker was ignored.
@-Shannara
So cool, had no idea HF sold these, thanks for the review! 5/5

I'm gonna have to check my Harbor Frieght store
@2centsam927
I think the " glass breaker " is actually intended to be a bone crusher
@chadrossiter156
The gimmick wood saw I'd swap out with a chainsaw chain . The gimmick tool I'd swap with a mirror
@kellymead2676
Harbor Freight already went up on these . Over $29 now . Guess everyone found them .

Good vid. You didn't mention that the flashlight has a crenulated bezel. Great defensive weapon for scraping across an attacker's face!!
