I like the bag cutter hack. Nice. On mine, I put on new 10" tires with 5/8 inch bearing hubs. Just used a 5/8 inch x 36 inch rod and slid it through the wheel mount securing it with grade 8 1/4 inch bolts. Then, a washer on each side of the wheels. Drilled a 3/16" hole at each end to put the cutter pins in. (the ones supplied). That gives it a wider, more stable wheelbase. Your handle idea is brilliant. That's my next project! Thanks!

These mixers look exactly like the ones back in the '50's and '60's that I remember seeing. I have one and I sometimes put some very thick grease on the rack that is attached the barrel. Quiets them down some, and I guess that they will last longer. The handle is a great idea, a lot better than the low one from the factory. I also oil everything that moves.

Damnnnn...now I see this... Just did 38 x80lb sakrete driveway extension last week. Got a mixer off craigslist for $35......that bag splitter wouldve saved so much time...instead of razor knife one side, having to spin and complete the cut on other side for concrete to then fall in mixer

2 foot piece of angle iron on the front leg helps to stabilize it on uneven surfaces.

I put some super high gloss color changing car paint 28 inch rims and spinners on mine along with a new handle. Works like a charm!

I prefer cut cement in half on the ground. And load water sand and gravel from a bucket. How do you do that now? It is a useless @hack@ IMO.
