Fouchon (Lance Henriksen) and his men follow in Chance's footsteps to Uncle Douvee's (Wilford Brimley) cabin. They riddle the place with gunshots but luckily Douvee, Natasha (Yancy Butler) and Chance (Jean-Claude Van Damme) were not in it.

What’s the movie about?
Natasha (Yancy Butler), a woman in search of her father, asks Chance (Jean-Claude Van Damme), a drifter, to help her find him. This puts Chance on the trail of a dangerous killer.

This is an underrated action movie. Yes, it is fantasy fluff but it was good, enjoyable fantasy fluff. It captured the uniqueness of the region. And I loved how the baddie's 2nd was smart and practical but he was too proud (and stupid) to listen.

Ah yes. One of the best classic action movies I've watched. Also, Universal Soldier vs Bishop(Aliens), Imhotep(The Mummy) and the Hunters.

I love the way the moviemakers emphasized the Frenchness of Louisiana in this movie. The names of characters, places, the old French colonial Architecture and Van Damme himself with light French accent.

This is where it all goes down hill for Pik and Fouchon because the whole point of it is to take Boudreaux down the easiest way possible. Instead, Fouchon would rather do it in style when pik wants to do it the direct way.
