4 others ended up in a wheelchair after that night when she rolled into the pit. So at the next show there then 5 people in wheelchairs who proceeded to the stage and rolled into the crowd. The show following that their were then 20 people in wheelchairs who proceeded to the stage to wheel into the crowd. When the 80 people in wheelchairs arrived at the show following that everybody knew shit was about to get crazy.... By the end of that tour this bands fans would be collectively known as THE PARALEGIANCE, in recognition of the allegiance of paraplegic fans so dedicated to their favorite band.

⁠@@mr.fancypants698 they actually had to ban the “handi-capable wheelchair pit” at all their shows. If they were playing an indoor venue all the smoke from the sick burnouts the cripples were doing in their chairs was setting off the fire alarms and causing even more people to become paralyzed after getting trampled/rolled over when everyone bolted for the exits cause of the fire alarms. They banned them at outdoor venues cause even without the smoke from the chair tires being an issue there were so many wheelchairs in the pit that you couldnt even hear the band over the ridiculously loud squeaking of their tires on the ground and scraping of metal on metal as chairs slammed into eachother, and obviously alot of screaming as the ones who still had feeling in their hands would inevitably get their fingers smashed. Or they would get their hands caught in the spokes of somebody’s wheel. Legs would constantly get twisted up and mangled in the fray but thats apparently normal and they cant feel it anyway so theres no agonized screaming to disrupt the audience being able to enjoy the show without rude distractions from others.

I’d be nothing had he not stepped..sorry.. correction…rolled into my life when everyone else left!! 😂. I owe who I am to him and can’t wait to see him again one day. RIP Tim Frady. The best big brother/friend/ Dad I could ever ask for.

Thats nothing. I saw a pregnant chic get slammed to the floor multiple times. Always got up. She was head butted in the face by another dude and got her nose bleeding and her eye swollen by it almost immediately. They escorted the dude out of the building and she just said "That all you got poosy?!". She looked 9 months and her overalls said "Today is my day" 🤣. I wonder if the kid is ok lol because this was like 98 or 99.

Of all the shows I've been to, metal fans have always been the most accepting and supportive of one another. It's the complete opposite of how we are viewed. Everyone is always so happy to be there and you really feel a sense of camaraderie. I've made friends with people that began with nothing more than finding out they like metal.

In the paris hardcore scene, in the early 2000's we had a guy who was a diehard fan of hardcore, a black guy on wheelchair. The bands would put him on the side of the stage so that he wouldn't miss a thing. He even wrote lyrics for songs.

There was a guy "rolling" around a few shows here in Washington. Saw him crowd surf at probly 15 festivals over the years!! Made it in stage almost every time if not pointed out by the lead singer of slioknot,lamb of god,hatebreed,bls,ozzy, so many shows!! Cool shit to see!!

This clip reminds me of a wheelchair bound dude I only met once here in my hometown. The guy was a gem and beloved by everyone in the scene but he unfortunately passed away quite early in his life. The only time I talked to him was my first hardcore show and he was the most wonderful person, very inviting and awesome person. Made the first show I went to amazing! Regret that I never got to know him very well but clips like these are always so inspiring. Always makes me feel warm that despite all the gatekeepers, critics, and bigots in the scene there's still so much kindness! Love hc, keep uploading this stuff sunny!

@@saintpenn2875 they actually had Isaac Hale from Knocked Loose filling in on guitar for this show. KL was headlining and Isaac played in 4 different bands that weekend. Two Witnesses, xWeaponx, Kublai Khan, and KL. This was one of the coolest shows I've been to, just the whole brotherly vibes around the whole thing. It really felt like all the bands were friends when you see someone that played yesterday headbanging on the sidelines, then run up and scream some lyrics, then just disappear into the crowd. They had the entire sideline of the stage moshing during Pain of Truth. I ate the singer for Raw Brigade's shoe during that set. One of the coolest on-stage moments I've ever seen

@@christophflattinger2262 that’s no surprise. It’s hard keeping a wheel chair upright and connected to the owner. Some people are grabbing the chair and others grab the persons legs. Never grab the wheels. Only the frame. Depending on the rims, don’t reach through the wheel to grab the frame cause if someone does grab the wheel it’s pins the other persons arm. There is a half assed strategy to crowd surfing a person in a wheelchair.

I witnessed a crowd surf in a wheelchair at a slayer show before. Im glad to see this young fellow living like there's no boundaries. Definitely made me smile seeing the people allowing this person to enjoy the show just as much as everyone else but hey us metal heads always look after each other 🤘🤘🤘

Fuckin right we do, I was at a slayer concert a few years ago (I believe it was they're fair well tour) And some kid with down syndrome hopped in the most pit,and this one guy (I don't think I he realized this guy was behind him) starts throwing elbows and caught the kid with downs syndrome in the face. Needless to say as the guy found out what happened,he helped the kid to his feet,and the kid just brushed himself off, hugged the guy who hit him,and starting moshing with the rest of us. And people say metal heads are evil.🤟

This brings back good memories. I’ve been to several metal shows where this happened. Everyone rallies together and puts in that extra effort to get them up and keep them in their seat and safely back to the ground. From personal experience, it’s a prideful moment cause you got to help make their experience that much better. I have to imagine if I still remember it to this day as fondly as I do(and I was always drunk/and or on drugs), then they do too.

I vividly recall at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest 2016 they crowdsurfed a disabled kid in an electric chair. He was passed around for a solid few minutes, probably one of the best moments of that dudes life

Kublai Kahn is lit, one of the best bands in the scene right now. Incredible on stage, too. Wish they'd play more around here, I'm in DFW, less than hour from where they're from & have only seen them twice in the last 3 years. This lady in the wheelchair is fire! There's NO WAY anyone could deny her a stagedive, regardless of injury or liability concerns.

That same thing happened at a Korn concert in Tacoma about 20 years ago. Wheelchair dude stayed on the stage for the duration of the concert. Best thing I've seen at any concert, except for the top less chick when I was 15 at my first concert in 1977. It was KISS.
