Integrated Engineering Turbo Inlet Audi RS3 8v

Integrated Engineering has done it again with a beautiful piece for the Audi RS3 8V. Today we installed their turbo inlet on the RS3. This is supposed to add somewhere in the ball park of 13 bhp. It allows the intake to flow with less restrictions. This new inlet allows for 28.27% increase in flow over the stock inlet pipe.
Be sure to check out our Integrated Engineering carbon fiber intake videos. We were so pleased with their craftsmanship on the intake that we had to add their inlet to the list of parts for the RS3.

thanks for the vid, was really hoping to see those bolts that were missed because of camera and also that clip on the wastegate that has to be removed . sure wish the install was as long as the video lol. the whole wastegate part is what is intimidating me from doing this.

Sorry we missed the wastegate, but if I remember correctly, the line running to it really just slips right off!

Great video. Still staring at my IE inlet pipe on the work bench in my garage. Giving me the motivation to start. Did the exhaust sound change and any change in power after inlet pipe install? Does your IE intake whistle a lot more than stock, mine sounds way different than stock.

I'm not convinced we noticed a huge difference in noise with the inlet, but according to graphs we get more power 🤷‍♂️! The intake made a huge difference in audible turbo noises, and it puts a huge grin on our faces every time she spools up!

Believe it or not, I did this install completely from the top, the lower torx bolt was a $&$#$ and probably took just as long if not longer than you guys!

Which model quickjack are you using and how do you like it?

It's the bl-5000SLX I believe, it has been working pretty great!

What's the diameter of the IE turbo inlet elbow ?

It is 3" if I recall correctly. At the time this was the only inlet available. I'm surprised, but it doesn't look like they have developed a 4" or 5" inlet much like APR has.

I'm curious as to how much power you gained from the inlet above and beyond that of the intake. Seems like a real pain in the butt hole.

It's supposed to be roughly 10-15hp, but hard to say. Butt Dyno says it's still fast 🤣

We were Custom Code Stage 2 ECU/TCU on 93 octane, but that has proved to result in a complete engine rebuild

@@HardwayLearning man, sorry to hear that. I heard another guy that had custom code also had his engine damaged. I get out when you boost vehicles above oem spec it can go south, but this looks more like a tuning fault more and more. I just went stage 1 apr, and even then I'm a little worried blowing it up, lol. And they have been around way longer in the tuning business. Can you chime in more on the situation? Do you think it was the tune? Or something else? Also how's your motor build coming along?
