How to install Integrated Engineering's Carbon Fiber intake for the Audi RS3 8V. This is a beautiful piece of engineering! The carbon fiber is a work of art! On top of looking great it should add 20-30hp on top of our Iroz Stage 2 kit!
Iroz motorsports tested a few different manufacturers and the IE intake is what worked the best with their components. This is why we decided to go with the IE intake, but also because it looks OEM good!

Hi, nice vids! Please let us hear the intake while stationary and reving the engine. Then some inside shots while driving and give is your opinion if the car got faster or not and worth the upgrade. Thanx

Any opinions on if the IE intake will cause problems in the rain - hydrolock? Thanks.

I don't see this being an issue, the intake location doesn't change, still scoops air just above the radiator!

@@Eminem344 one of the things we noticed is the tsoo tsoo tsoo noise if you roll into the throttle and let off, which never ceases to make us giggle! This is significantly more noticeable with the exhaust flaps closed, but we do have Iroz Downpipes and midpipes which makes the car a bit louder.

have the downpipes and mids also but that’s good , i think i’ll be picking that up soon. do you guys plan on doing the turbo inlet too?

@@HardwayLearning awesome man. I'm considering the IE intake with the IE inlet pipe over the APR inlet and inlet pipe. What are your thoughts on the APR? Only issue is IE have said 5 weeks for production!!! : (

@@gtrsfk9001 we don't have any experience with APR, but can't say enough great things about the Iroz/Custom code experience. I would wait for the IE intake it is a work of art 👌. Launch control audio clip with IE intake incoming soon

Is the setup exactly the same for the 8s TTRS?

Didn't get a lot of wheel time with it before it went into storage, but we did notice a significant increase in intake noise. Most notably the wastegate flutter, which is incredibly amusing to hear!

I wonder why they use worm clamps as opposed to t-bolt clamps?

there's no pressure, t-bolts just add weight and cost more. not to mention you can easily crank them down too hard and crack that cf.
