thanks for the video! could you list in the description what kind of setup changes you did to the guitar, as you mentioned in the video, am a beginner and wouldn't want to miss out on your tips

I’ve bought one for some gigs in Turkey I’ve just changed the pickups and set it up. It’s incredible for the price. I’ve been playing and gigging over 40 years had/have Fender Gibsons etc but I’m not putting them on a plane so HBs are superb mod platforms you can replace if broken in the cargo hold 😂🎸

I appreciate your comments but I can't help comparing this guitar with what was available when I was young. The Beatles started out as The Quarrymen playing guitars from Woolworths which just about worked as long as you had two or three people playing the same chords. It is just amazing that professional quality guitars are available for next to nothing.

They have this SHadow the HEdgehog Strat in a local pawn shop and i was tempted to get it, but the finish is apparently really weak

Most of the guitars of this model that I've seen around have a dark brown fretboard, almost black in some even though they all should be of this reddish color because they are made of amaranth.

If you still havnt got it and are still worried about setting it up, it's actually super easy. There are thousands of videos out there walking through the basic setup of a guitar :)))

so im starting to get into guitar and im thinking about getting one for christams is it good for a first guitar without doing anything to it like the strings you mentioned or would it be necessary to switch the strings

I’d say definitely change the strings. Its not needed straight away, but to set up the guitar and get nice action and that, new strings will be needed. It’ll also make the guitar feel better to play as stock strings are usually cheap and nasty. Hope this helps👍

No, it is not worth it.. unless you are a luthier, like me.. I had 4 harley bentons, and they ALL had uneven frets.. The ST 57 DG I send back straight away. This one I put some work in. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gdKbqsx7tta3k3k.htmlsi=PXzJG45PhxXJTNl9
