One of my favorite motorcycles is this 1977 Harley Davidson XLCR. When the Cafe Racer popularity exploded in the mid 1970's, Harley Davidson wanted to get into the action and did so with this Willy G. design. Though not really competitive with the best of the European bikes, it was a significant leap forward for Harley in terms of both performance and certainly design. It was the first Sportster with triple disc brakes and good suspension components that made it a lot of fun in the twisties. It's 1000 CC iron head motor pulled like a freight train. Very few of these were sold in 1977 and 1978 and they became instant classics and collectables. So come along for the morning ride in the canyon and enjoy the sights and sounds!
