You Sir, have built the Perfect Sporty Cafe...this is exactly what I am trying to build and your genuine builder ways are so much cooler than bolting on an overpriced off the shelf part. Love it and I love that people like us still exist. Keep on creating man. I also love you love all bikes, I have BMWs HDs and some Japanese stuff, but love my Euros and I love the complete opposite approach of HD..BMW "we will engineer the perfect part. HD 'fuck it, that fits"

And no anti corrosion sealant or paint needed! I think all my future builds will use an aluminum fuel tank, so much lighter than steel ones.

Thanks John! Neither can I! I'm flirting with idea of red paint for frame but that might be too scandalous, I'll probably stick to traditional black. I'll sleep on it....

That was the original intent but it didn't seat right with me, was actually looking too modern.

@@DANTHETUBEMAN I still have the stainless steel 2 into 1 collector for that job but like I said, didn't like the look. Besides, the bike is tuned to perfection as is, I consider this bike finished.

@@motonisto you lightened up the back cutting off the solid iron, you should continue with a single up swept exhaust 😁

I like the loop, although I’m trying to keep the rear fender braces because I want to be able to carry a passenger

On one of my other Sportster (number 14) I installed a loop to support the fender and also kept the struts to support the saddle bags.
