The question is; why would a new bike blow fuses? You didn't discover the problem, you just put a band-aid on it. Harley is unbelievable.

i know this is old but it was probably caused by a handlebar wiring short. very common even with stock bars.

Great info. I just fr a 2024. It was shipped from Florida to North Carolina. Battery is completely dead. Will this “trick” work on the 2024 as well.

i'm having kinda same problem with my 2018 street bob, but the matter is after 4-5 times of switching it on/off it suddenly starts up , its like starting at her own will, its really frustrating sometimes, if anyone got any insight kindly share thanks in advance

My 23 street bob turns on, but when I try and crank the engine it would just click but won’t start, any ideas on how to fix the problem? All the fuses look good

I had an issue like that today. Got gas and flip ignition switch no hum but starter turned. I move it away from pump then fuel pump worked but no starter. Checked fuses and swapped relay. It was the ground. I blame it on not having a gremlin bell on my Buell.

The only electrical issues I have had where after a thousand mile road trip. My sporty vibrated the positive battery terminal connection loose.

Having the same issue only problem is every time new fuse is plugged in it pops?

Harley is Harley.. Kinda junky but fun as hell..ps the street Bob is the best softail

Blown fuse: Why did it open? May be a gremlin hiding somewhere...like a chaffed harness. Make sure you buy some more spares.
