Digging further into the never ending bottom end of this trashed ironhead. Most people would walk away when cases are cracked and major repairs are needed... But I have faith in this old gal! More work, more parts, more tedious project than I wanted but old iron wants to run again. Make old harley's great again! Time for some major cleanup, rebuilding, and a full flywheel up makeover. Parts aren't too bad, way more time, but way better than buying an evo in my opinion.

I don't usually like beating the cranks out but this was getting a full rebuild so I was working a bit more quickly. The bearings were not in the best shape on that sprocket shaft either which made that come apart much easier. If you have a press I would recommend that route, but in my experience they usually come out pretty smoothly. Will definitely want a press to put the bearings back on however. Thanks for watching. Just make sure all the end play is good Maybe do a stroke on it Something to think about

I’d love to but that’s out of budget. Now it’s a budget build but fix all the broken. Time for some porting and cleanup and she should be running good! Cranks good, just gotta fix the rest of it!
