My recommendations
Tribit stormbox micro 2 - $60 - 8/10 -
A really great sounding speaker at an affordable price and also very compact. Perfect for biking or the beach.
In addition, an application with an equalizer and a battery indicator is available
Soundcore Motion 300 - $80 - 7/10 -
Great sounding speaker with a nice customizable EQ and an adaptive EQ that changes the sound depending on position. But it can distort sometimes
JBL Partybox Encore - $300-330 - 9/10 -
A good loudspeaker with deep bass for a party. It has an equalizer app and has bass boost options that make it even better
will enhance the party. Additionally, there are 2 microphones in the box (USA) and 1 microphone in the EU. I even prefer the encore to the boombox 3. New models have now better battery.

For the size the Luna puts up a good fight, seems more neutral sounding than the charge 5

They both sound very similar. By simply luna Has a softer tone.

How's the Bass? Is it punchy or is it still the typical artificial bass of the JBL/HARMAN? Which fluctuates every beat?

On lower volumes luna have better bass but at higher charge wins

@@joshuamorales460 Earfun Uboom L is pretty close tho JBL still has the advantage in loudness and bass but price is what makes the Earfun better and its overall sound quality is also way better.

Los jbl en los medios siempre estan configurado con en modo concierto, las voces atras, como con un sutil eco, em cambio Harman tiene los medios en primer plano sin ningun efecto raro.. Yo prefiero esas sensacion de estudio.

The Luna sounds really nice for its size. It is a more relaxed listening. The charge 5 is good to but not as balanced.

Muy completo el sonido de Luna, desde que lo tengo no ocupo otros (tengo Onyx, motion Boom, etc) Lo comparé con Charge 5 y a ojos Cerrados HK Luna Gana por mucho, mas claridad includo mas bajos, la firma Kardon es exquisita al menos a mis oídos
