Being petty enough to temporarily convert to living a perfect, monastic life just to spite your fake chiropractor is kind of on-brand.

Here's the thing. Dan's bad back is from a smushed, smashed or slipped disc. It's from his terrible posture while walking, sleeping and sitting. His vertebrae are pinching together smushing the discs. Being overweight only exacerbates these bad habbits. Most back pain is from this. The muscles attempt to compensate and a chiropractor can identify and alleviate the pain from the muscle strain, but cannot repair the disc. That takes time and attention. I've corrected my posture and the results were life saving. It was debilitating when I was in high school, but now almost 50 and I'm feeling great! Toes are together, off my arches and belly out. I lost some weight too.
