HarmonyOS 4 vs iOS 17 - Mate 60 Pro vs iPhone 15 Pro Max Animations

A small comparison of the animations on HarmonyOS 4 and iOS 17 running on the Mate 60 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
What do you think about the animations. They are pretty much identical for me. Just the iPhone seems to have more apps in RAM it appears at least so.
I recorded that video with my Xperia 1 V in 120 fps @ 4k

As we all know, Android animation is rendered independently by each app, while Harmony system seems to use the same system as IOS to render pages in a unified way.

@@lovric600 if you can say nothing new in iPhone, so nothing new in anything else.. If you can't see, everyone copy Apple design, everyone try to match with Apple processors and performance, everyony increasing camera pixel to match with Apple quality.. This year Apple open the door to ps5 games to be in mobile devices. Now every mobile company will copy this too... It doesn't matter Apple to make new device every year the matter is everyone copy Apple and it's enough to see how much powerful they are... Wait for Apple vesion ... All company witng for them to start copy and make Samsung vision and xiaomi vision and huwawi vision... You can be sure about that

On HarmonyOS 4 the same. On EMUI 13.1 a little bit less but EMUI 14 should fix it.

It must be admitted for now harmony os is still slightly below ios. But remember the age of Harmony OS is a creation of Huawei which was born in 2019. Meaning harmony os is only 4 years old. And they can already approach iOS which is already 13 years old

Wow. I had no idea they completely stole the iOS design and animations. That is really pathetic. Why wouldn’t you want to create your own look and feel.

I think they had their own look and feel and people wanted it to be a bit more "iOS like". So they did it. But there are differences despite all that similiarities. Like it closes folders when you go to the home screen. The animations are a bit different when you take a closer look. The icons bounce a bit when you close an app for example. But I could show you Xiaomi, Oppo, heck even Google and you would see similiarities. Its not a 1:1 copy and a few of those features were there before Apple had them (like the gesture navigation)

@@lltechviewit's not just the animations bro it's also the cut out, if you turned on the thing that makes the notch look like the iphone they would really look alike.

@@BLAKEEATS1988 Yes true. The cutout however was also there on some older Huawei models afaik. At least prototype leaks I saw before the iPhone did it. But this is nitpicking now. Its clear that the industry gets "inspired" by other companies invention. And yeah most of the time its "inspired by Apple". On the other hand one could claim Huawei was doing the less edgy design with more rounded corners at least 6 months before Apple and now others (see Google) join in.
