Best way to think about the low end of this line T5: Agano, Yahagi clone T6: Gokase, Yahagi + 1 turret T7: Omono, Mogami -1 turret T8-10: Unique ships As you mentioned, the T5/6 have garbage guns like yahagi so you are much more reliant on torps. Yubari, the T4 is a much smaller hull (more of a destroyer leader) and only has 2x2 torps
