Give nothing, take all and I’m getting old so she knows I’m getting old, I’m 75…..My son has always helped and especially since my husband died last September, his family is still there helping and supporting me but never see my daughter… ??? My advice is to go find a good lawyer and make an IRON-CLAD Last Will & Testament leaving everything to your son and his family, with any friends and charities you want to receive a certain amount. Make sure you don’t just name the beneficiaries!! State specifically, by name, that your daughter is not to receive ANYTHING from your Estate. Because I can guarantee she will contest your Will after you have died. After making your Will, I encourage 2 things for you: (1) Don’t feel guilty!! (2) Don’t feel that you need to reveal to ANYONE except your lawyer what your will says. Just make sure someone you trust knows who you lawyer is to be contacted on your death. May God Bless you with many more years to enjoy with your son and his family. As for your daughter, being her mother does not obligate you to be her doormat.
