Baffled by how underappreciated this video is, it's amazing!

Harry is the hero for our generation not because he was the best at magic(his excellence was in Quidditch and DADA and Potions around Half blood Prince, basically he wasn't bad but wasn't the best either, he improved during the later years), or the only possible option for the chosen one(Neville). What made him special was the love and sacrifice of so many wonderful people and his own strength of character. Yes many suffered ,sacrificed to protect the boy who lived, and that's because he was worth it. His journey as the chosen one began with selfless sacrifice of his parents and his destiny was fulfilled by his own self sacrifice and the wonderful mentors and friends he made on the way. Even without the spells and potions, there's magic in the story. It has Rubeus Hagrid, the giant with an even bigger heart, Weasleys who're the most accepting open minded pureblood family you can ever find. Molly helped a clueless young wizard with no one accompanying him. He befriended Ron,the kindest warmest 11 yr old who was ready to sacrifice himself to save his friends. He befriended Hermione the bossy but brilliant witch, whose first appearance was her helping a scared kid find his pet. The bookworm who took so many classes that she was given a Time Turner dropped out temporarily from her final year to try help her friend save the world. The girl who erased herself from her parents memory to keep them safe. It had Dobby, who tried to help Harry despite being enslaved by Malfoys,Winky,Kreacher and the house elfs, the Weasleys who lost a child, an ear,earned a scar, and gave Harry the first real family. Neville the Herbology wiz and True Gryffindor, Sirius the Godfather who suffered most of his life trying to protect his Godson. Most of the Hogwarts staff, creatures and what not. R. A. B the guy who went against his role model and the most dangerous man alive for the greater good, even sacrificing himself. The story had Cedric,Fleur and Viktor, the kids who proved that not all attractive overachievers are shallow people, with one of them sacrificing his life. Underrated Professors like Professor Sprout and Flitwick, who truly loved teaching, and encouraged nervous, underconfident kids like Neville. Professor McGonagall the legend. The real administrator of Hogwarts. I bet she's a wonderful Headmistress. The Transfiguration prodigy who never transfigured a student, despite dealing with the Maradaurers,Weasley twins,and the Golden Trio. She even condemned Barty transfiguring Draco. Luna the most unique, eccentric kid who's also an eternal optimist despite losing her mother, being friendless and bullied. The list is endless. These people,even if were muggles have magical personalities, the kind erupting from the soul. Thanks for anyone having the patience to read this extremely long comment.

I love when it cuts to 3:13 cause its like the whole tribute has been dark toned then it goes to that scene and the brightness and joy u feel is immense. Its how I feel about this wizard world, truly beautiful.

Sirius speech, then Dranco's suffer in desperation and Dumbledore's death through Snape, who had no other choice to do different, is absolutely killing me. This is still beautiful, people have died but they still won in the end.

This video is impeccable- the whole message is true of “pity those who live without love” ; especially if you understand who it is aimed at - Tom Riddle (Voldemort). His life is a tragedy - born under the circumstances of a love potion, abandoned by his father and left without a mother, stuck in an orphanage, even though he loved hogwarts he still had no proper guidance, etc. It’s funny how even Tom, who couldn’t feel love, said that he felt like Hogwarts was his home. Really shows how much of an impact Hogwarts has on people

its crazy... you love someone so much that when they pass they slip through your fingers like water. your head fills with regrets.. questions you never asked... risks you never took. you get thoughts of joining them - wherever they are in their past life. you must find love and comfort in others. moving on is the hardest thing, trust me, i know. but living your life, reminiscing on the past you had with them breaks you somehow even more than their actual death. your late relatives, friends, pets, ect. all look down at you, smiling, proud of you for letting your breath continue for another day and your heart beating for another 24 hours. don't count it as another hour without them, count it as another reason to make a change to this dismal world. no matter how hopeless life seems, people will always support you, even if you've never met them before, you just have to reach out to the right people. everyone has bad times, you'd be inhuman if you were to say you'd had a perfect life. bad things make room for even more excellent things. everything happens for a reason. fate is something strong and true. you meet people because of a reason, because of fate. the ones who are given harder times to live through and bigger smiles to hide behind are the strongest and wisest. harry potter is a great example of losing loved ones.. they just slip through poor harry's hands like dominos being knocked down. if you need help, reply to this comment and i'll help you :-). i love you very very much, please stay safe!

im getting homesick, to a home ive never been to, im missing friends ive never met, im crying for people who dont exist… im getting nostalgia over nothing.. it hurts doesn’t it? to know the people you love most arent real, to know youve laughed with them, cried with them, and where brought up with them in your hearts.. hogwarts can be real if you wish for it to be.. “just because others say it isnt possible, doesn’t always mean so, many people have grown and died with them in their hearts ‘hogwarts is a magical place, and it will always be there for you when you most need it” it hurts you know, hurts to know the people you love most arent real, to have memorized fictional places, to feel like your home will always be far.. but just remember the wizarding world is real, if you wish for it to be..

This was probably the best Harry Potter edit I’ve seen

One of the most powerful scenes in Harry Potter is when Voldermort tells Harry "Look at me" through the mirror. It's just, such an impactful scene, that whole internal battle. Sadly, Neville's speech is kinda, eh. "People die every day, we lost Harry tonight" and then he proceeds to count up a few people, one of which we don't even know who it is.

I feel equally bad for them. And why should we pity Harry? He didn't live without love! Even if his loved ones ones left him, he was still having their love! I feel heartbroken at how tragic his life is, but Voldemort literally took birth without love, and also died without love.
