Harshad Mehta was a hero....its a shame on our government, our ministers, and our system that we lost such a gem....he was just a hard-working and innocent man who wanted to live a better life. But it could not be digested by our system. Such a shame for all of us that we could not save him. RIP THE BIG BULL (P.S. Bhai when he was arrested he had 500 cases registered against him, he just passed 8 years in jail and died, but the fate had to be tasted by his wife and brother who till date go to the hearings of his court, his brother has put his entire life earning to give money back to banks. He was a genius but his family suffered a lot due to him.

I’m gujarati, And my father and uncle made lot of money under Mr. Harshad influence. He said to me jo bichare apne beti ki shaddiyan nahi karwa pate the Harshad helped them to buy stocks and made lot of profit. Whole gujarat and other state people were blessing Harshad who helped them to make profit.

Lot of people committed sucide because of this scam. He gambled with the safety reserves of bank. Bank managers trusted him because he was giving them benifits he promised. But he did not tell them what exactly he is doing with that money. Because he was giving result, he gained the trust and people started to invest more trusting his methods. But share market is sort of gamble afterall. Not everything goes your way.

@Amaya Yadav bank invest in stock market by very less percentage. It is about 1-3%. If a chair original cost is 100 rs he increase its value to 1000 in paper. This is not right that chair must justifies its value. Just like the company whose share price got increase but they failed to increase its value because you can increase the price but you can't increase the demand.
