I compare my bought at Walmart impact drivers. One is the HyperTough and the other is a Hart. Both models are brushed power tools on 20v platforms. Although I purchased both tools at $50, the Hart was marked down because a new brushless version is now available. #powertools ‪@HARTTools‬ #toolreview #impactdriver

I think hart is considerably better than hyper tough because they are made by TTI who also make Ridgid, Milwaukee, and Ryobi, but the deals on hart are awful. I was looking at getting a half inch mid torque impact wrench and hart wants 180 bucks for their brushless half inch impact while I was able to find a deal at Home Depot for a 2, 4, and 6 amp-hour battery, charger and a half inch brushless impact for 200 bucks so I went that route, plus Ryobi has a ton of tools available to expand out, I even have a Ryobi drill and circ saw that I picked up for 15 bucks at a yard sale a couple of years ago.

That would be a rare deal since it would be $99. And a single 2 amp and charger is $89. Was it a Christmas sale?

The HART has a bit more torque compared to the hyper tough. Both still good impact drivers for the price

There is a better Bauer brushless at this price point to consider.

Have one word to people who r thinking about buying walmart power tools the word is craftsmen because its dewalts last gen brushless with new insides and thicker haige wire ,will last twenty time longer and lowes will replace it for three years for both tool and battery just take a pic of receipts on phone and make a folder for them ao you dont loose it youll be fine

I have both. Honestly, I prefer the hart over the hyper tough for my body shop job when it comes to price. If i could afford it, i would pick up Ryobi or Milwaukee.

Harts not bad. The tools have gotten pricy the last few years though. I like what I got, but I’ve been switching to Bauer. $39.99 for a brushless impact driver compared to almost $100 for the Hart? Specs are similar. You can get the Bauer impact and another brushless tool (drill, grinder, multi tool etc) and still have 20 bucks extra in your wallet.

Owned the Hypertough impact for a while and just got the Hart on sale. The chargers are junk, definitely. I will find out in a few days how well the Hart performs. The HT could not do lugnuts unless hand loosened first, so that is test 1. But the HT has otherwise worked fine drilling holes for lag bolts. Got to do more of that this week so the Hart will have a shot at the same workpiece the HT worked on last week. Same wood, same bit, same holes.

@@ThaexakaMavro Numbers on the Hypertough are not exactly prominent on Walmart's advertising but it apparently claims 1300 inch lbs. The Hart tool openly claims 1700 inch lbs, so in theory, it is slightly more. The Hart with the 1.5 battery could not do the lug nuts any better than the Hypertough. I got the Hart 4.0 battery but haven't had time to try it again.

Hyper tough is for like when you need a tool for one job and you’re not trying to spend a bunch of money on a tool because you know it’s only for one job, like I bought a screwdriver and it broke in like 2 months lol 😂😢😅

The 12 volt brushless ones have done well for me but those 20 volt brushed ones seemed like they were throwaway. Hopefully new versions are better.

@@zacksintheshop I am a firm believer now in “you pay for what you get for” in quality tools because you never want to be at a job site and not have adequate or reliable tools to finish the job and charge top dollar for your work, that being said I also want to say I don’t judge, if you are on time and reliable I don’t care what brand you have as long as you want to work we will find a way to make it work, a man’s willingness to learn has value- anyway have a great day thanks for making the video

They do sell better chargers it's penny pinching what comes with it. The charger in the box is $32 and that seems like a joke the type most will want is $44, or a 4 battery charger for $66.

My experience with HyperTough products led me to understand that they're complete junk. One tool (impact driver) died by itself, and the circular saw was weak and ineffective. Used Walmart logic to prevent myself from ever buying Hart. Far too much junk is sold by Walmart. i stay away from their power tools entirely now.

Hyper tough is Walmart brand, I don't know who makes it. Hart is not a Walmart brand, it's made by TTI, who makes Ryobi and Milwaukee. hart tools are Ryobi tools with small changes to them, and it's exclusive to Walmart like how Ryobi is exclusive to home Depot. Hart is good quality
