@1997debbie8 жыл бұрын
I've had four batches so far and sold them all but 15 from my first batch, they were too beautiful to sell I had to keep them. The male is a sunny orange marble and my baby haha (female) is a stripe with red eyes, didn't know the male was a male until they paired up. And your welcome keep up the good work, bye for now.

Great followup. I'm doing a LFS run today, I would like to try this out. Question: What kind of camera do you use? it always looks great. Do you use a spacific type of mic? All I've got to say is, they're very well made. peace
@MikesFishRoom18 жыл бұрын
Thanks! All I use is an iPhone 6 and I edit using iMovie. I record a voice over using my phone as the mic. Thank you so much. I'm pretty impressed with what this phone does!

Awsome! Lucky babies. I saw a third bottle where you raise your brine shrimp to adults. What do you feed them?
@MikesFishRoom18 жыл бұрын
Ya I have been messing around with them for a few weeks. Going to shoot a vid soon. I've been feeding new life spectrum grow fry starter. Had a hard time before I started using it. I know you can also use sp powder.

love your videos i have had tanks since i was 9 i m 61 now i have a 200 gal salt a 110 tall with full size a angel fish 2 years old 35 of them and im breading a pair in a 50 and a pair in a 20 thank you fo your videos
@JKJeepster338 жыл бұрын
Hey Mike, great video brother. how did you grow the bunch of brine shrimp so big? do you feed those to your larger fish?
@MikesFishRoom18 жыл бұрын
+JKJeepster33 Thanks! they have been a little project for around a month. they were baby's from a hatch that i left and fed. I have a growing brine shrimp video that im going to do. I have fed a few to my breeding pairs but they are freaked out sometimes. they are only use to their own fry swimming around so they hesitate to eat them. lol new life spectrum GROW fry starter has been their food source and has worked well. within about 3 weeks they start to reproduce on their own. stay tuned, ill be making that video soon.
@kosintroubleinthetank70768 жыл бұрын
Was that adult brine shrimp in the bottle to the right? Every time I try to grow mine out, they are all dead within 4-5 days. Would love a vid on how you grow them out. Thanks, keep the great videos coming.

@MacShrike5 жыл бұрын
Dear Mike, I have a problem, perhaps(likely) you can help me with it. Since the unhatched eggs also sink, how do you separate them from the hatched nauplii? I'm afraid to kill my small fry by feeding them the hard eggs. I use one of those brine filter small plastic boxes with the meshes inside. Regards, Mac

@MikesFishRoom18 жыл бұрын
If I'm hatching to to feed them, they only last two days so I don't feed them at all. If raising them you can use phyto feast, spirolina powder, or new life spectrum fry starter.
