Funny story. I had issues in a jar trying hatch some for my baby betta. They all died. I stuck the jar in a windowsill. Forgot about it. Went in the kitchen one day to see thriving brine shrimp. I had done nothin. The jar grew algae and is still sustaining itself. the shrimps are boppin around having a good time

It's all good exept for those numbers you gave about salinity. I don't want to invest in salt water material so, ~ how much spoons of salt / gallon ?

You have made it look very natural.good job..its a shame you can see all the filter and pipe work showing..it spoils what you have created.

Did you use a marine salt mix for the tank? I have a good amount of aquarium salt but I’ve been reading that it’s not recommended.

Thanks for your suggestions. My brine keep dying at 2 weeks. I have not been using heat so I’m going to try 80 degrees. If that doesn’t work I’m going to try water out of the Chesapeake Bay here in Maryland. I think my city water is bad. Maybe bottled water will help

if you dry a piece of liver until you can grate it on a nutmeg grater the dust fed to newly hatch young is fantastic.

Grinded fish pellets, nice. But here's the huge mystery and the reason why I looked for this answer.. That bottle you left alone for a long while had zero food.. So wtf did THEY eat 👀, it's bizarre

No i don't trust my water company, that's why i use ro/di water, i control what i put back in my water, been doing this for 25 years that's when they started putting chloramines in our tap water. I raise discus this is the safest way for me, plus the discus prefer the softer water. Great Video Joe H Navy Seabee

Isnt the filter not filtering out the food that the artemias need? I never put a filter in my Artemia tanks. best if it gets lot of sun and build a lot of algae

Dear brother , my water tds is 270 . Tank size 36"L, 17"w, 18" H . My parent angel fish pair lays egg but I get 5% fry due to hardness of water. After they lay egg , if I replace the egg in to RO water will they hatch?
