Love my volunteers, I usually take my planting hand shovel and just give them a good whack at the end of the season, last year I must have been a bit aggressive I have chamomile in the other beds, in the walkway LOL. I transplanted everyone back to the 1 bed. It's best to pick early in the morning before the flower opens fully. I have a batch of cut chives drying and just stored in the cold oven while they air dried, hubby didn't check the contents prior to preheating the over for dinner...POOF burnt chives, stinky. I have that same drier, everything gets air dried now. I am picking mints, herbs, marjoram, savory, oregano, parsley.....pick pick, pick and dry dry dry. Love it thanks for the reminder Jinne.
