Let me salute you smm855. I adore good packaging and I'm a sucker for a mix of matte and gloss. It's why I'm still holding onto my Steam Controller box when normally I recycle that sort of thing. The packaging was just too pretty and well presented to be turned to pulp.

also interesting that him and baylee, who are good friends, bash chameleon markers... more than once.. when VEX collabed with chameleon.. weird. he even mentions chameleon in this video, and mentions how chameleon probably regrets sending them to him.. because he didnt like them.. i have both, and spectrum noir sucks. they fray like crazy. and blend horrid. makes me so sceptic.

its just so strange to me that he was able to , get these markers sent to him out of no where, and then 6 months later, actually 4, announce a collab with the brand, and then the mystery box. that doesnt happen in just a few months. it takes at least 9 months to get that shit together. they arent sneak attack markers. he knew

I bought my 13 yr old 60 spectrum noir for Christmas last year for $50 on a website last year, not willing to buy copics for a young artist, these are a great alternative to copics and she loves them!

@@StudlyFudd13 Have you tried that trick where you just fill 'em up with rubbing alcohol from the store, or something like that. I haven't tried it so I don't know if it actually works, but if you didn't know that might be alternative

@@draconaisesin7785 The markers themselves are alcohol-based, and yeah the colors are technically diluted but that's how they came out of the factory. Get the pigment, add some alcohol, and you have color. I think the idea is that all the alcohol is gone but not all the pigment, so you're just trying to get what's left of that.

These look like really good quality markers especially considering the price!

The biggest problem with them is that they are designed to only blend within their color family. So if you wanted to blend something in the aqua blue family and the royal blue family, it is very difficult. I have a starter set, and it's very hard to get decent blends. Instead, the color wants to pull up and seperate. If you have a lot of them, they're great based on reviews, but if you only have a small selection they're difficult to work with.

Sequin Cook I recently got a pack of them called ‘essentials’ which had a colourless blender in it so that helps blend them all a bit easier.

tbh the I started with these and there is one main problem: the brush. Like Artists Loft and Art Alternative pens, the brush is actually a brush that's kind of glued instead of a latex-ish sponge like Winsor & Newton, Prismacolor, and Copic. They are fine if you use fine tip mostly, but they fall apart very quickly because of the materials the brush is made of.

There's also touch new which are 70 for 168, I don't remember how much for the 100, and it comes with 2 small liner pens, 2 bigger liner pens, and 2 white gel pens, and they work great
