Actually the myth busters made a episode on this, and actually a knife is quicker than a gun at a fight. Obviously gun has a longer range, but before you can aim and shoot you most likely already have been stabbed. I also loved the brush, and I think it's undisputed winner. And military guy as well as the cyberlady both had guns on them, when brush wielded his instrument like a sword.

I really liked this video. You've inspired me to finally order some illustration pens and try my hand at it. I got the Tombow set! I'd LOVE to see you do an illustration where all your characters team up, allowing you to use all 3 tools to their best. It would be really helpful to see how you might switch between them, especially so fresh off the comparison video.

I would say brush and ink for this kind of art. The first pen makes a little too clean and 'dead' feeling. The second is nice with some thicker lines etc, but the third feels like most artsy with the shading, the black filled areas and the little dots from the ink you can't get with the other two.

I feel like the average artist or dabbler as myself would just not be able to replicate the same results with the brush as jazza. He pushed it to the limit and showed how high the ceiling is for that medium. As usual, blown away by the talent and how effortless he makes it all seem.

Honestly for comic book art I'd add another challenger ... The dip pen a ton of mangaka use it for their professional work and it allows a little more control over the brush but can still utilize the same inks and many of the techniques a brush can. And even then the pen I would say is best used when going back with other materials to add more depth to the piece
