Is the keto chow magnesium drops better than a pill form of magnesium and the b vitamins are a lot higher dosed than others I've seen. I have Hashimotos too and am willing to try anything for relief, so if I take the higher dose of the b, is there anything to look for as far as "too much" in my system? Thanks!

Thank you! I found Dr Ken first and he led me to you!! I just started ketovore way a couple months ago, got my labs done for the first time in maybe 7 years (?) my thyroid labs are horrible!! Jumped right to your videos for some additional guidance. I had been on Levothyroxine years ago; felt worse (refused a prescription of that for now) so changed diet and normalized labs att. Have an appointment with a new Dr to follow up. I haven’t had one of those for years either!! I so appreciate you!!

Neisha and Dr. Berry, I just want to say thank-you, more than words can express, for all the help y’all are to so many of us. I’m grateful that y’all get the information to us in words we can understand. I’m grateful y’all care about us. May God abundantly bless y’all in more ways than you can imagine for helping us when very few of our doctors actually will. Thanks again! ❤️

Thank you so very much for your Hashimmotos videos, very helpful! I went last week and had all the thyroid labs drawn that you recommend because I haven't been feeling well the past year. I have been keto for 5 years and have been doing great but for some reason this past year my hair has been falling out in large clumps, I'm always exhausted-just like you explained, foggy head that I just can't clear, and overall just feel like crap. The other morning my son told me something was off and that just pushed me to get some labs done. They came back this morning and my TSH jumped from a 2 last year to a 4.8! Yikes. I'm waiting to hear back if she will start me on a low dose of a natural desiccated hormone, fingers crossed :)

Thank you for this video! I just bought the Vitamin D3 with olive oil 5000IU and it helps a lot. I am chronically low, still only 24 on the scale. I was taking it at bedtime and realized it interfers with melatonin production for sleep. Now I take it at breakfast or lunch, much better. Finding supplements that have healthy oils and good fillers is really hard, thanks for the suggestions. I ask my pharmacist or the pharmicist at the store where I'm shopping if it would interfere with Rx. Do they have a better recommendation for a supplement? The Mg makes me sleep really well, deep and satisfying.

Hi Neisha, thanks for this! Can I just ask, why is there so much controversy around J.CROW's Lugol's iodine solution? I was concerned about the bottle not suggesting a daily dose, and the I read horrific things on Google, one of which being that you should never consume it orally. I trust you and Dr. Berry and you're the reason I became a ketovore✌🏼 I want to take some iodine to support my Hashimoto's, but I wanted to double check your opinion on those rumours around Lugol's (since you're taking it) and maybe why they exist. Is it that you need to have a blood test or something prior? Thanks so much!

Thanks Neisha, I stopped eating red meat on keto and was ill, my lips were blue and I couldn't get a good breath, I've just taken the ancestry spleen, had burgers for breakfast and a gentle iron supplement with folate and b12 injection for past few days. There is colour in my lips again, my mental health was horrendous. I am not falling into the trap again, starting to feel more human now. I'm going to order organic organ meats and dehydrate them. Lugols iodine does not agree with me so I'm too frightened to keep taking it. Borderline thyroid issues I have but my main concern is the dangerous low ferratin levels, that was scary, kept taking panic attacks and loosing the function in both arms for about 20 seconds. I take magnesium and electrolytes

There are quite a few forms of magnesium and I can't recall which one but (at least) one specific form is most effective for Charlie horses/cramping muscles. If deficient in iodine and other things it could take a fair bit of time to build your levels up. I'm taking some other health products and about to order this iodine as the drops I have expired years ago. Our family has been using Redmond's pink/sea salt for maybe a month plus now and love it and I'm glad it has a lot of minerals in it. How are you doing now?

Good question, several brands offer them but I know Ancestral is usually considered more pure, etc. I'm currently taking one called Thyroid Strength from Mega Foods. I'd previously taken it and found it on sale so bought it up to take while I figure other things out. I also used some herbs/supplements successfully for a few months before going on Naturthroid due to pregnancy just to be "safe" a few years ago and plan on incorporating them again along with a few other awesome health products I'm using now too. I see your comment was from a year ago. How are you doing now?

Hi Neisha, love your channel and your hubby's. Do you still take Levothyroxine tablets or have you ever used them? After using them for 10 years I stopped using it for four days and I became so dizzy and had to start again but dropped my dose to 100mcg and 50mcg alternate days from 100mcg every day. I really hooe to stop fully one day as I get so many side effects of this drug like hair loss, muscle weakness, mood swings...

UK market is so limited, I may need to find an online pharmacy who ships to UK. Did you decelop your Hashimoto during your pregnancy? Which side effects did you have? I'll watch your old videos too as soon as I find a time from my little ones. I have started following you on Instagram and Facebook too :)

@@readingtime8209 You may be able to find a supplement that is dessicated pig thyroid vs a prescription either locally at a health food store or online if they ship to the UK. I have hypothyroidism and ultimately I think it's best if we can get to a place where we don't take any, even the supplement, because it can essentially replace what our bodies should be producing on their own and make the thyroid lazy and reduce and potentially stop the thyroid function.

One more question please! I had my thyroid removed due to inward growing goiter. It is so hard finding a doctor to prescribe the desiccated thyroid. My doctor has retired. I just was looking at the ANCHESTRAL website...they have a Grass Fed Natural Desiccated Beef Thyroid. Do you think it would benefit to take this until I find a new doctor? COVID is making this even more complicated. I know this would not be "medical advice" and I have to get to doctor. But just your opinion. I appreciate it! Im feeling a little hopeless. Do you or Dr. Berry know of a good doctor in Louisville, KY area?

My last labs showed I need a little B-12. My homocystein level was a little elevated and he thinks it will come down after I have been on B-12 for a while, but I am having a hell of a time finding a clean B-12. Not sure I need all the stuff in your Folate + B vitamins. Any suggestions??

I see this is an old comment and I'm not Neisha but I wanted to let you know i know the struggle to find clean/proper vitamins and supplements. For the B-12, some people can't break break down to utilize and need methylated B12 and I think a couple others methylated things too so the body can absorb and utilize them properly.
