Who said you that Mukesh ji is underrated. There is difference between become famous and rated high. Mukesh sahab is praised by everyone. Don't call him underrated if you don't find amazing thing in his song. Change your taste. Good things are consumed by less people. It doesn't mean it is underrated.

Notes of both Rafi Sahib. and Mukesh Ji are correct but variations in singing are due to musicians.

@@sarabjitkaur9894 Notes ki to baat hi nahi ho rahi yahan. They all are great singers to ghalat note lagane ki to gunjayish hi nahi. No doubt Mukesh ji was a great singer but Rafi Sahab jaisa koi nahi. He was the greatest.

@@masroorhusain5766 Rafi Sahib were direct singer whereas Mukesh Ji was complicated singer. It is difficult to carry so heavy base. Emotions mein Mukesh jaisa. koe nahin. Ye mana jata hai ke unka Kavya bahut adbhut tha.

पुराने गानों में रफ़ी साहब मुकेश जी किशोर जी इनकी आवाज की जितनी तारीफ की जाय कम है जिसमे रफ़ी साहब की तो बात ही अलग है मगर लिखने वाले भी कम तारीफ के लायक नहीं है आपको दिल सेशुक्र या जो आपने इतने बड़े शिंगरो को दिखा रहे हो मेरा तो जन्म भी नहीं हुआ था

Chetan Verma Ji, indeed Raj kapoor ji could sing well, but here it is the genius Manna da doing the playback for Raj ji, from the back of the stage. It was a prank played by Raj ji to amuse the people. I have seen the full film ( 16 MM projector) years ago. The final shot shows Raj ji bringing Manna da out from backstage .

After seeing this video and live performance, I can just say one thing, there is no one like Rafi saheb. Such as divine voice. I am saying this even though Mukesh ji is my favorite singer and I love his songs. Great to see him and Rafi saheb performing live. Its great to see so many legends of Indian cinema in one video. Greatly appreciate Hansmukh ji for posting this gem. Aapko shat shat naman.

I listened to the music of Jaikishan in the Rang Upavan auditorium in Surat. He was playing harmonium and singing also. It was a privilege to see this great musician just 10 feet away from me. I was the most senior Police Officer present in the audience , sitting in the front row. I regret that I did not step on the platform and shake hands with him. I shall always repent this .

Usually , we listen the beautiful songs of great singers Rafi Sahab and Mukesh Sahab , through different means, but seeing them singing live gives different feelings and joy. It transports us to different world.Salutes to all great legends involved in this memorable live musical nite. Its a great pleasure to see all film stars together at one stage with our Naval officers. We all proud of our Indian Navy and Indian Film Industry. One protects us and other entertains us.
