Vlogger should have identified which "local" Philippine variety he is using for this comparison with Haas. I've tasted a few supposedly local varieties that are almost comparable to the taste of Haas. There is so much extraneous information here that do not really address the issue of the taste difference between the two avocado varieties. I agree though that Hass outclasses a lot of avocado varieties when it comes to its taste and texture.

Dami tayo unknown local varieties kulay maroon to dark red. Meron din may pagka violet.

Philippine Avocadoes came from Mexico. Reminds me of a Cuban friend who was very proud praising the Manila Mango. Do you have them in the Philippines? He thought it over and Hell, Manila is in the Philippines.

Ang Lamb hass ay grandchild ng Hass variety. Mas malaki ang bunga ng Lamb hass at iba ang fruiting season nila.

At least 1,000 meters above sea level. It's all about the temperature, not really about the elevation. But here in tropical Philippines it equates to the same thing. The higher it is the cooler it gets.
