Here in southern Wisconsin we had several hundred Yellow-rumps at Devil's Lake State Park feasting on the lake fly hatch this week. Good show. Spring is on its way. First Rose-breasted Grosbeak today.

We had record snowfall this winter… About 11 feet. … We do get some lake- effect snow, of course, not as much as the UPA of Michigan, of course. And the spring has been very cold.

Lots of migrants coming through in central Alberta this weekend (including tens of thousands of Sandhill Cranes), but no warblers yet! We’re in drought conditions and the wildfires have started already, we need moisture badly!
