I used to think people who were directionally challenged were exaggerating. Then I met my friend who could only take one route to campus. She’d get so lost going to a friend’s apartment or a certain place to eat. That’s when I realized there are actual people who have no sense of direction 🤯

Back then I joined a school trip to a chocolate factory... And the factory is full of air conditioner so my friends and I are so cold that we really need to use the bathroom... The toilet is quite hidden and there are no signs at all... When we get in... There are these interesting fountain like place where there are water flowing down.. We don't really mind that so we just entered the toilet immediately... When we got out of the toilet the worker there told us that we just entered a male toilet... AND LUCKILY THERE ARE NOBODY THERE EXCEPT FOR MY FRIEND's BROTHER WHO JUST ARRIVED... APPARENTLY THE FEMALE TOILET IS FAR MORE TO THE RIGHT.. OH MY GOD

Mate, that last part about second guessing route A is me all the time. I did that many times and got myself lost having straight up doubts about my direction. Oh and with regards to shortcuts, they end up taking me twice the length as the original route, almost ended up handing a assignment late as a result of that.

boy i only started to get familiar with my town when i was 15 (started going to chorus).With chorus we went to various places of my city so i finally knew some places my family knew all along. Then when i was 17 i started to know even more of my town. Gues why? i started going to art school which was in an unfamiliar place so ye i learned even more of my town. XDDD god i was home mouse never going anywhere

Honestly, this was so relatable. I lived in the same town for my whole life and at times I am still like, "Where the fuck am I?" It's not even that big. Luckily, the roads are weird and connected in a way where you can take 20 wrong turns and still end up where you were supposed to be and then wonder how you got there.

I really reaaaaaly can relate to that. Sometimes I even try to remember every turn I took so that on my way back reverse them to reach my point A. I remember them all like Google cars guide. And when I come back, I follow it exactly as it was supposed to be. And booooom, a whole new area. It is really an adventure as you said 😂😂😂

Lol my mom was driving me to an appointment somewhere we had never been. On the way home our phone ran out of battery.... I remembered the 2.5 hour long ride... And remembered them. We got home fine ... I have now been dubbed the family navigator. I also won a race on navigating with a compass through a dense forest to specific points and collecting letters from each point to form a code word.... An "orienteering race"... In 6th grade.

I know this video is old but I feel you bro I used to be the worst at directions, but then I realized that games have maps and routes for me playing resident evil 1-4 helped a lot I'm sure there's a game you like where you've mapped in your head the routes. Believe BELIEVE

I’m pretty notorious for having a bad sense of direction in my family and have gotten lost sooooo many times. Sometimes when I’m in a building I’m not in often and they try to send me somewhere, I just look at them and they come with.

So the thing is, i cant relate to this video because i litterally know the exact way to my old city (46km or 28.6 miles) and all the shortcuts, details of nature and even the friggin house owners (that i actually got to know before) So what do i have to say you may ask? It still blows my mind to this day that there are people who drive to new locations and only need to look at the map once or twice to know where they need to go. I will get lost in a matter for minutes if I don’t have a GPS screaming at me to make a left turn.
