Kailua, Oahu for 7 yrs, Mt. View near Volcano NP on Big Island 3 yrs...traveling full-time RV now but covid grounded us. We will be rving further again on mainland this spring.

I lived in Makaha, Oahu from age 9 to 11. We lived across the street from the ocean on Makau Street and I remember going to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing every night.
