Think a small fairing or windshield maybe a better choice?? Looks a bit too bulky and angular. 🤔

You might want to look into the process for prepping and preparing the aluminum for paint. You might have to acid etch the surface and epoxy prime in order to prevent oxidation. Also, all the materials used including the grinding/sanding etc need to be new and not previously used on steel. I experienced this issue with my new vehicle having aluminum oxidation issues. Understand it is just a bespoke part and you might not want to go to these measures, just trying to help. Thanks and have a great weekend.

I admire your steady hand with the grinder Del. Dash is looking great! On a side note I just watched Gaige Herrera win his 9th consecutive NHRA Pro Stock M/C title on a Hayabusa over here in the states. He broke Dave Schultz's 30 year old record for consecutive wins. I've never ridden a stock 'busa but they must be scary fast. The race bike versions hit 200 mph in the 1/4 mile. Yikes!!! Looking forward to each week's progress on the build. Hi Rick, you're absolutely right, they are a bit scary fast, I have to admit, I've never yet topped it out, every time I've bottled it and backed off, it's still been pulling hard with no sign of giving up, so it's certainly faster than my ol' bones, I reckon if Chuck Norris was a motorcycle... well, you know the rest! Thanks Del for another great video. Do you do requests for subjects? I watched Dave Moss Tuning' Motorcycle ergonomics: fitting the motorcycle to you' video. I quickly became lost in trying to choose new levers for my VTX and thought it would be great if you could make a similar motorcycle ergonomics video, but with a bias towards cruisers with do's & don'ts for Safety, suppliers etc. Thanks again to Penny & yourself for all your great work.
