Ha ha, it was touch dry between coats.. but i still gave it over night to harden off..

Thats right, it's still a satin black stone chip paint, but a commercial trade brand with a directional nozzle, and also loaded a lot thicker then domestic rattle cans !

Yep, you can't beat a bit of black. Love the front-end look with the clock surround with the play on the brake and clutch master cylinders. Definitely a unique look!

I know it's one of the smaller pieces in the grand scheme of things, but to me, the best piece by far is the exhaust bracket. Slicker than snot on a doorknob!

The finished product is looking great and , not to worry , still plenty of summer left. 90 degrees here for what seems like way too long. I use my bike lift as a workbench too. Handiest piece of furniture in the garage. 😁 Now you and Penny go out and enjoy a (safe) ride. I believe you've both earned it. Cheers! ❤👍👍

First coat? Is that the filler/primer youre using??? Hycote high build aerosol car spray paint filler primer. If it is, I#ve got some to try out on Guiselle's panels and other bits.

How did the clocks work without the ignition turned on?

It will just be something that Suzuki have pre-set for when the clocks are reconnected if the battery is connected.

Thanks mate👍, it's almost ready, had a few setbacks getting the last jobs done as you'll see, but like the Harley Sportster, there will be a ride to the MOT station and out on the road after to celebrate !
