Hey you guys! I'm sure you all know what JAM is. Growing up with permed hair, this was always used to lay my edges whenever I wanted a sleek ponytail. Now although I used this all the time, I hated how greasy and shiny it was. I decided to try it on my natural hair, since I have been experimenting with new and old products. Instead of using the typical greasy Jam, I found this protein gel from them that I personally have never seen before! Check it out and see how I liked the results!!

I used the one with the red top on for a wash and go on my channel last year and I liked it! The only part I hated was the jar was so small so I couldn’t get more than 2 uses out of it.

Even though I never permed my hair, I use Let’s Jam back in the day for my edges when I was in middle school. This was when it was first popular in the early ‘90s.

Let’s Jam has a curl custard you can try. It has like a pastel purple or pink top I think, it’s the rounded type jar as well.

Yaaas! I am sooo here for this was and go combo. I think the shingling method is the best way to maximize the efficency of the wash and go(just my opinion). Even when I don't feel like it. I end up doing it anyway. 🙄🙄🙄😂😂😂

I have used the Jam in the orange cover all over my hair and it turned into a mousse consistency once mixed with other products. It took a very long time to dry and the curls were ok but its nt my go to.

Yes! I remember Let's Jam in the 90's. I was in high school and I used this every morning for my pony tails. It's definitely greasy, icky, and it melts. At the end of the day, you have a shiny forehead and grease on the side of your face...haha. I hated this stuff...I started using a different gel.

Whew, I used to love _Let's Jam_ in the 90's. I used the pudding. I believe it was in the white jar. I also used the extra hold which was in a clear jar. It was a task tryna find a jar w/o somebody's fingerprints.

I used the jam with the yellow cap for my buns , it’s so weird. I felt like my scalp was tingling in a burning way. So I stopped using it. I was happy to see that you went with the other one. Your hair looks great.

Very nice results. I absolutely would try the gel after seeing your results. My only hesitance is that I suffer from really dry hair and I would need to use a heavier cream under and I'm wondering how it would pair. Would you do another video pairing that gel with a moisturizing or curling cream?

If you can’t find it in stores, do online. I’m on 4th day hair currently! And probably gonna let it last til sunday (the back of my hair tangles fast so I don’t wanna go too long before washing).
