I love it without the body honestly because it looks like a rock bouncer

I've got two of these while ago. As a man in a wheel chair, most of my RC activities are indoors, and for few years now I am into the mini and micro crawlers. Before I lost my right leg I used to drive 1:10 scale crawlers. But now my garage is mostly 1:24 ; 1:28 and 1:32 scale. To increase capabilities of my Devastators I've done two simple mods : To one I put a bit wider and softer tires from Axial and put some weight on each rim by rolling a lead wire and as a result the total weight of the vehicle got increased with over 90 grams. Now the grip is way better and the center of gravity is much lower. To another I just glued on the top of each servo lead plates with different weight : on the front is 70 gram and on the rear is 50 grams. About the crawler's courses. Different scale crawlers can go thru different sizes of obstacles and that's why I've built three different circuits : one for 1:24 scale cars, another for the 1:28 crawlers and third one for my Orlando hunter "bugs" in 1:32 and 1:35 scales. That's fair chance for all of 'em 🙂

I have seen these for awhile. I agree with you, this is a mini monster truck not a crawler. However looks like there are a few parts that you can swap to other rigs. Its good at sitting on a shelf!!!!🤣🤣🤣

Ive known about these for over 10 years..its a kool little rigg but Its not a crawler its a mini Monster truck with 4 way steer. If you put some softer tires on it from the Mn99 it crawls pretty good actually

Got my devastator "upgrade" tires and i put them on my element sendero24 and they fit perfect. Same dish as the factory wheels and tires. So if you put them on a scx24 it should widen it a little. They are just as soft as the sendero tires but 54mm now. Lolol. pretty much just follow the outline of the fender flares on the factory body when trimming to fit the original body on the sendero. Mine came on gray beadlocks for $19.25 free shipping on ebay. Like $25 for the chrome versions. Hobby plus cr-18 1.0 T-FINDER A/T what the package actually says. Went from a stack of 6 quarters high diff clearance to 9 quarters high clearance. Same as a stock scx c10 i believe. Lol

I agree with you 100%. The tires don't seem to grip at all and the belly clearance sucks, not a fan. Love the video though always comical Love the falling off the table aka falling off the Earth... 😂. Love the look of the tires on baby digger maybe they'll grip a little bit more on it with some weight

Tires i bought off ebay for my scx24 and sendero24 were advertised as udgraded tires for this truck.

Same electronics that are in my 1/10 redcat danchee ridgerock

I have watched so many videos on these that if you swap the tires it does a thousand times better

I put bigger tires on the stock wheels and it goes great and it has more ground Clarence now and it dose crawl a lot better with the bigger one's.

Biggest issue I see with it is, it's a Ford. Them fightin words over at my house. Great video, scale crawling naw, just cruising around in some dirt or gravel probably does alright

I have the devastator and the rocksta. With this one you have to drive it like you would a real 1to1 crawler. And what i mean by that is tire placement is key but that is just my opinion. love your video's keep having fun whith all your micro crawler's

Can the Motor on this car changed to brushless easy and do i need to replace the Esc then or does the original can handle a brushless Motor?

Dude those tires suck ass ditch them as soon as you can. Tires can make all the difference.
