I stripped out the motor gear reduction box the brass colored one attached to the motor with the real little small watch gears

@@GrandadIsAnOldMan I found a couple on ebay itll take like a month to get here but it is exact and unfortunately you cant find just the gear reduction box you have to buy the motor as well...I wish I could post a pic on here

Haha, I think you will find most rock crawlers look the same when you take the plastic shell off 😁👍

It is fun, but obviously being so small is a handicap when rock crawling.

@@GrandadIsAnOldMan No, it is scale model :) It can do all this size model can. In its size range, its awesome. + its fun indoors to, make obstacle track for it, You,l see its quite able.

@@antssaar863 Haha, when it comes to RC model rock crawling you don't want to be messing around with "scale" obstacles. You want to be crawling over insane rocks and slopes that you wouldn't consider in real life. Sorry, can't help you there. This video is over 3 years old and I was given the car 2nd hand anyway, so it would be older than that so I doubt whether the parts are still available. I can only suggest you search online vendors on eBay, Amazon, AliExpress, Banggood etc

Are you using the ESC it came with? If not what ESC are you using?

The original receiver had the ESC onboard and I couldn't match the receiver to any controllers. SO I replaced the receiver with a standard FlySky receiver. That meant I had to change the servos to standard servos, and provide a generic 20A ESC like this one www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174498368168

Nice fix.is that the original Motor thats in there.? Im tempting to buy one on banggood. The reason its so low geared is because its a crawler truck not a fast pace speed truck.its meant to climb over obstacles 🤗👍

I am not sure if I would buy one, they are fun but I would rather put the money towards something bigger 1/10 or maybe 1/8 scale. On the other hand, it is fun indoors when it is too wet to go out.

Hi i lost my charger for my model would know the wire sequence for the balance plug, i have a 6.4 charger ?

I am afraid mine has all nonstandard components so I don't know what the original parts were. You say 'balance plug'. A balance plug for a battery has a positive wire to the positive of the first cell, a negative wire to the negative of the last cell, and intermediate wires to the points where the cells are connected together. In a two cell battery that would be 3 wires in total. One positive, one intermediate, one negative.

I still haven't got FPV kit but you will find I put cameras on all my cars at some time or other 😁👍

With FPV on this car you can't crawl. Just looking at the Sky or way down. I tried... it's more for trail exploring or racing ...

@@danielwitzemann very true, when crawling it is easier to see and plan your route with third person view. FPV is too close and with a fixed camera you can't see around. If you have a motion sensor linked to your headset so you can pan and tilt the camera it is more lifelike. Traxxalu does some great videos with that sort of feature.
