Long ago I attended an airshow in Miami and a Concord did a similar flyby. I always wondered if there were passengers in there on their normal route to MIA with the plane just taking a short detour for the flyby at the airport the show was at 😂

In IAS is the same speed. Actually at higher altitudes de Vmax is limited by MMO and not VMO, so the maximun IAS is reduced. In terms of TAS it can go faster yes

Definitely not 350kts ... A320 's VMO/MMO is 350kts/ 0.82 Mach. This at the most can be Green Dot speed i.e. around 200kts which we use when coming in for approach. Good capture nevertheless 👍 Edit: Came back to this video after a long time and i See a couple of jealous EXPERTS calling me out as Sham or teaching me 😂 Firstly LOWI IS a Cat C airfield, you can say bye bye to your license if you're flying at that speed at that alt, Secondly READ fcom LIM-AG SPD P 2/6 the graph clearly says IAS and thirdly I'm sure these EXPERTS can't even tell which engine is on this a/c which clearly is CFM 56 good luck flying that at that speed at that alt, and Fourthly the aircraft should be in APPR phase or DESC phase or GA phase during this manoeuvre [that is if you know what that is, kindly go read if not] so with managed speed by default it'll never go above 250kts & FIFTH most importantly apply some ointment on your jealous ass😂😂 Arrogance doesn't get any pilot anywhere in Aviation, I'm sure these "experts on youtube" aren't even pilots or have even 1000hrs under their belt. I've seen plenty like you as CM1 and CM2 PEACE and happy landings 😉😂😂

Ummm....cruise of the A320 is 0.78 mach. At an altitude of 200 feet or below, that's 515 knots, plus-minus one or two. MMO is 0.82 mach. That's 540 knots. So, no, there is nothing preventing this from being 350 knots. Oh, and Green Dot speed isn't a set speed, it varies with weight.

When closest to the camera, this plane covered almost its entire length (37.57 m) in just 0.2 seconds, so its reasonable to assume that its ground speed was at least 170 metres per second or 330 knots.

a little tomorow 350kt, rwy lenght about 2-2.2km, it took 18 seconds to overfly rwy so it is well below 500km/h,

It enters the runway at around 00:04 and turns at 00:16, likely after it has overflown the runway meaning it did 2000meters (LOWI/INN rwy length) in 12 seconds, making it 600kmh but still less than 350 knots

@@PilotHenrik it can be he overflew rwy at 00:04 but he overflew end of rwy at 00:175 or later, there in background is hill that is finished and that is line between rwy end and filming position on apron , so it took at least 13.5 seconds what is 533km/h, btw, 350kt is speed limit and i doubt it can fly on 580m QNH 600km/h and pilot would push to limit even with diving

By the way...there were of course NO passengers on board! It was a ferry flight to AYT and the tower asked us to do an overflight for the annual airport festivity going on that day. And he didn't have to ask us twice :)

I was a passenger onboard a Boeing 757 doing a low pass like that in Innsbruck in 2005. This was on scenic flight through the alps from Munich to Munich offered by Condor. We also did the same thing in Salzburg and Klagenfurt.

Forget all discussions about Mach (an Austrian btw) At this Altitude , approximately 2000ft msl the only limiting factor is the strength of the structure, in other words IAS, which is normally on modern medium size transports about - yes - 350kt. Some airliners have/had the barber pole at incredible 430/444 kt (kias). This at sealevel and standard atmosphere is also ± TAS , in no wind conditions ground speed as well !!
