At 66 years old, I can honestly say that I am fortunate to have lived during the entire Mark Knopfler era. From the jumping, bouncing exciting man on stage to the calm reserve attained by any great artist over their years of performing, the minute the first note plays, you know it is Mr Knopfler. He is one of the top 3 ever! Thank you Sir!

I think he's the best he's ever been. Saw him in 2019 at Wolftrap, DC - and he had me from the opening note until the very last one. Every song was captivating and new, even the old ones! : ) Dire Straits were fantastic, but now he's more in a class with DaVinci, Shakespeare, Beethoven. The most amazing artist ever (God excluded, of course!)

From Sultans of Swing, Money For Nothing, Heart Full of Holes....a seemingly infinite wellspring of amazing music. The best part? No matter how much garbage the world seems to want to wallow in - a couple of hours with MK and his crew makes it all go away. Thank you, Mark, for 40+ years of musical bliss Simply the best.....

How lucky these people are in the concert. This is one of the few concerts where they have played at same speed and sound as the original records. The musicians are just amazing and the quality of sound is just incredible!! You can see the quality of music here, no egos, and no old men pretending to be young, just pure talent that sounds amazing! thank you Mark and friends !!!!

I nearly died in car crash 4 months ago. Spent months in the hospital. Had to determine my last rites. Specified Mark Knopfler tunes to be played during any ceremony. Tunes included Going Home and many more. Mark Knopfler has been an inspiration in playing guitar and also creating my own songs. He is an angel to me!!!

Flew out of City airport to Milan for three days and to go to this concert, which was on my 68th birthday. What a very special night. I have every piece of music he has performed, there is no other artist like him, never will be. Absolute legend.

My one criticism - you have to be there. Heard him in the worst stadium, concrete, facing walls, the whole audio hell of a place and they sounded like soft butter. Every note from every instrument in perfect balance, like a studio album. That’s when you know just how brilliant they are. Nowhere to hide, everyone in perfect harmony. What a band.

I am 70 years old, in 1976 I was playing with my band in the city of Livorno (the Tuscan native city of the painter Amedeo Modigliani) and many friends and fans told me about a certain Mark Knopfler who played the Fender Stratocaster in exactly the same style as me. , "fingerpicking". I was intrigued, so after inquiring I purchased Bob Dylan's famous album "Slow Train Coming" in which Mark appeared as the first lead guitarist. Obviously I was thrilled and from that day I have always followed our dear Mark in all his performances. F.

He paints pictures with his music and his guitar sings more powerfully than vocalists could hope to achieve. Yet his lyrics are pure poetry that creates moods and imagery evoking our past, and a hope for our future. He is more than a highly talented guitarist, he's a highly excelled artist we're lucky to have experienced.

The purity of his guitarwork makes me cry. I've been smitten with this man and his work for 48 years (my lifetime). A meister of his art and a legend amongst legends. I'm still hoping he comes to play in India once. Our exchange rate doesn't allow me to go watch him play. It's still on my bucket list though. Love you, man.

Always hurtful when your heroes get old. Love his music. My first concert was in Brussels in 1983 , I think, and I was mesmerised by Sultans of Swing. Like so many others here, I believe Knofler is one of the greatest and brightest guitarists ever.

This: about a year ago I happened upon KZfaq and caught up with years of MK videos. I have been a fan since the early days and was at the Alchemy concert. When I first found these latest concerts I was a bit shocked, who was this stocky bald old man...my Mark had a headband and a youthful slender swagger. But I have come to appreciate this Mark too, the maturity, the voice and the guitar skills are still here. We wre all older now. I love you still. ❤

I have been on tour with Dire Straits for 2 1/2 weeks in 1992 (Scandinavia), and I really liked it. And now I see Mark Knopfler almost 30 years later... And I still like his music! Thanxx a lot, Mark!

I saw Dire Straits at 15 years old after hearing them on the radio and buying the tape. I was blown away. Thank you Mark for your service, service to my life since a young teenager. You're a real legend!

A true legend from Dire Straits to his solo career, music so timeless and wonderful it just never stops leaving me in awe. And the evolution of him as a musician is great, has matured like a good wine. His live performances are superb, so different and so unique from On the Night through A Night in London to this, yet the same soul throughout them all. I love On the Night and grew up with it so always will be very special but he just keeps refining a real virtuous and a legend Thank You so much for the music Mark Knopfler

I wrote my first book ‘Mafia Dollars’ by Andy James .. on a family holiday in the Alps listening to ´On the night’ .. such wonderful music .. and now Mark is still churning out these gorgeous music inspirations … a long way from when we used to listen to him and his brother etc playing in the pubs around Deptford !

Quello che mi colpisce di più in questo video sono l'umiltà e l'allegria che Mark dimostra sul palco. Umile perché nonostante sia un gigante guarda e considera i suoi "ragazzi" della band come suoi pari, allegro perché si diverte a suonare e rendersi complice con i suoi magnifici musicisti. Un vero spettacolo per i miei occhi, occhi che hanno fatto un lungo cammino con Mark nel cuore. A partire dai miei 16 anni nel 1978. Una lunga strada di emozioni vissute e rivissute. Ora vedo un Mark molto stanco, consapevole ("c'est la vie ", "è la vita") e ho un po' paura.

.I was 16 whenI bought the first album cassette tape of dire straits.which include.,once upon in the west....of course the iconic sultans.. I'm 65 now and the songs of Mark had been journeying with me till present.2022. His music is simply eargasm to me ...ohh the telegraph road.,.. best on the road even I got no car...hehehe. Mark love songs are gorgeous: Romeo and Juliet.Are we in trouble now... .I put to sleep my 3year old niece to the tune of the tunnel of love...and there she goes- asleep. I'm from the Philippines and the MARCOSES should listen to Mark's Imelda baby.and be very ashamed,.but not in this unfortunate country of mine., Keep singing mark and the band..Salute

A big star with a guitar… he’s excellent in his art, as Phil Colins or David Gilmour too. I really love their musics and songs since I was young. How Luck was this audience, to see the Maestro at work with the backing off a group of musicians who are without doubt superb at their profession and would have remembered this concert for a long time.I am around the same age as MK and only wished that I could have mastered such a Awesome Talent and hope he continues to perform as long as possible.
