Thank you so much! You are the best teacher I wish I had taken lessons from you since childhood.❤❤

It's so much fun to play around with this piece, playing it faster and louder, soft and quiet, stretching those pauses and getting into the feeling. It is my favorite piece of all time, to think Chopin didn't want it published after his death...

My favorite Chopin nocturne. The opening is so haunting. Like others, I can't thank you enough for sharing your insight with us all.

thanks learning this right now and has been very much harder than all before just from the musical complexity. hope to see more for this nocturne especially the dynamics. ive found the phrasing of the first 2 triplets in left to be very different from the second 2 especially noticeable in some interpretations quite helpful to implement.

In time I will post more about the tricky page with ornaments, etc...measures 31-38. Nothing is set in stone.. There's room for many interpretations, even tempo selected. I urge piano students to be open to many diverse ideas....And in addition going to LIVE concerts, is always recommended...

To Michelle Suit: I am not familiar with the Karl Muller vertical piano. I did check a few You Tube videos for the tone of this piano.. and it appears very angular and tinny. But each piano has to be judged individually.

This video is greatly appreciated and just in time. I'm a fairly inexperienced player and am having a lot of trouble with the trills later in the piece, I have difficulty knowing where to fit them in relative to the left hand. Any help with these would be much appreciated (even if it's very basic stuff). That's to say nothing of my difficulty with the legato, but hopefully that will all come with practice! Thanks very much for the videos
