My husband proposed to me within 3yrs of dating, we married a yr after engagement. He said these things to me after 1 & 1/2 yrs of marriage: he never wanted to be married, he doesn't want kid's, he doesn't think he can change, I pressured him (after watching this I learned it's probably his family and church that pressured him cause I definitely didn't) I feel like he trapped me cause he said he thought I would've dumped him is why he proposed. I have no choice but to leave, but he left so I have to see the blessing in this because it's been a nightmare I don't even really want closure cause I don't want to know anything else. I just want peace

Back in the day many women felt that way. I’m not so sure about now. Right now, I consider him not wanting to marry her a blessing. Whether she’s aware of it or not. Ladies, I’m here to tell you, you don’t need to walk into that trap. There’s much better things you can be doing with your life. Ladies, please understand. I’m aware of how I sound. But I don’t mean any harm. I don’t mean to knock marriage for anybody who want that. I know there are some good marriages, though I will contend not many. That good marriages where there are absolutely no bugged out absurdities that the wife is putting up with to be married and the connection and relationship between the couple is really true, is the exception not the norm. And I personally cannot think of anything more dire and unfortunate than being legally strapped to a messed up guy. So ladies, don’t be so quick to tie the knot. Bcuz you could be tying it with Count Dracula. Where he is nice to you until you marry him and then he lets loose the Kraken. And in the daytime he’s nice to everybody in society, the swellest of all fellas, and a boogeyman to you in private. Don’t be desperate to get married.

I know women sitting in relationships for over 10 years having babies and waiting to get married. Trying to tell them that the guy doesn't want them, they don't want to hear it. My ex husband proposed after four months of dating and we married 18 months later, but I realize now that he married me mainly because he knew i wanted marriage and I offered more in a relationship than his previous girlfriend ....

I feel bad for this lady and her son. I agree with Tony. One of the mistakes she made was hanging around in the relationship too long while they were still courting. It should've NEVER taken 7 years for her cheating husband to know if he wanted to marry her and start a family with her. I always say to all cheaters whether the cheater is a man or a woman if you know that you are not gonna be faithful in a marriage, DON'T GET MARRIED. You're just a stumbling block to the person that you are with that takes marriage and family serious. And you are wasting your time and his or her time both. For her to find out that he was running around and cheating on her just a year into the marriage, that lets me know that he was already cheating while they were courting or dating the whole time before he proposed to her.

One more thing I'm adding to this is when I say you cheater is a stumbling block, what I'm saying is that you are a blessing delayer, a blessing blocker, and a hinderance to the person you are dating. What I mean is you are standing in the way of your dating partner, that wants a serious relationship, by depriving your current partner to meet and hook up with somebody else that will take marriage and family serious just like them. All that precious time your partner wasted with you could've been spent with somebody else that would've been a better compatible partner, a spouse, and a blessing to him or her and a blessing to the marriage they could've had. And you cheaters are stumbling blocks to yourselves by dragging innocent people into your mess. You are lying and playing games with others people's emotions and feelings pretending to be something to them you are not just to please them or get them to stay with you whether it's pressure or not. That's not fair to them. Be honest with the one that you are with so you can both go your separate ways and don't marry that person. Don't even court that person. I don't agree with cheating, fornicating, and sleeping with multiple partners and I don't agree with adultry either but if you know you are the kind that will cheat and not be faithful and the type somebody should NOT be married to and you still choose to have sex with multiple people anyway, you are better off remaining single with no strings attached. Don't be a hinderance to people and a stumbling block in their way cause you got issues.

Him going on these hook-up sites is not a mistake. It's a choice. He knows exactly what he's doing, which makes it even worse. I could be way off base here, but it sounds like he is cheating because he only married her out of so-called obligation. Tony is on point about the whole "shacking up" thing too because he most likely felt guilty about not being married. The fact that he waited so long to marry her speaks volumes. He was dragging his feet.

The whole time I was listening to Tony read the email I was like “hmmm he didn’t want to marry her to begin with.” To me it was low on his part to string her along all these years and they have a child together too. YES I DID 4 YEARS PLAYING HOUSE WITH A DOWN LOW MAN. HES ONLY 24 IM 22. so I gave him excuse after excuse. I was there for him even after I found out and I cried with him held him. I told him God loves him still and finds him worthy. and I caught him on the grindr app once again. and I finished out our lease and I bounced out he was so sexist and just egotistical. but I was loyal and pure genuine. his sexist views destroyed my view on God somehow and I ended in the mental hospital and he got a tinder. idk I'm over dating. so many down low men its sick. especially in the black community

I was in a relationship for about almost 5 years...It got to the point where I asked him if we were ever going to get married or live together., his response was that I was being too pushy and I shouldn’t rush him. I am like wait we have been in a relationship for almost 5 years and I am rushing you?? Humm...then I decided to break up with him and he blames me for ending the relationship and pushing him away. Anyway, he never came back and asked me to work things out he just let me walk away... it does really hurt.

@@fabiolatorres8754 I completely understand. My husband left me, wants a divorce, is cheating, and a narcissist. He has been emotionally abusive and cheated the entire time. We have been together four years and have children. I have struggled emotionally, but with the help of God I will withstand all trials and tribulations. You will too 😊
