I didn’t understand what the assault had to do with the paternity. I’m a Victor myself but I couldn’t connect the dots as what that had to do with the baby. Was she saying that the child resulted from the assault? Imma rewind it.

The state will fille child support when you apply for government assistance. She could have told them that she didn't know who the father was but he signed the birth certificate so he was responsible for the child.

Just think a little deeper before you maintain criticism of him: How would she know at conception that the alleged rapist would be the father of the unborn child (as she claims she told him) if she was in a (sexual) relationship with the plaintiff that whole time? She's having unprotected sex with the plaintiff regularly, and then allegedly got raped by a different man during the relationship with the plaintiff. It would be impossible for her to know who out of the two would be the father prior to the birth without an INVASIVE prenatal DNA test. If she actually got one, it would prove she actually took steps to confirm the true paternity of the child, which would make it more reasonable to presume she made the plaintiff aware before he signed the birth certificate. She produced court documents about missed court hearings, so she definitely would have shown a prenatal DNA test result if she actually did one. She wants people to believe she told her teen boyfriend who she is regularly sexually intimate with that she was raped but knew that only the rapist impregnated her, and that the teen boyfriend willingly and knowingly signed the birth certificate with no DNA test that they freely offer at the hospital post birth??

If his name is on the birth certificate then she just can’t say he’s not the dad. Paternity has been established at that point. It’s not a simple fix once the birth certificate has been signed. That is a legal binding document of who birthed the child and who is responsible for the child.

She said to Mathis that she knew during the pregnancy, so she can't hide behind "I didn't know or wasn't sure which man was the father!" She knew he would be put on child support when she applied for government assistance. She definitely chose to do nothing when he got arrested for child support for a child she knew was not even his. I find it very interesting how so many women decry dead beat dad's, yet frequently let those men off Scott free and willingly allow men who are not the father's to get charged child support and arrested instead. Then throw up hands and say "not my fault, not my problem"

In any event, knowing you caused your boyfriend to get arrested for a "crime" you know he did not commit is certainly worthy of any number of descriptions like the ones. I listed. It’s not. I am a paralegal at a law firm that practices Family Law in North Carolina. The most the court can do for you in this situation is stop the child support payments from coming out of your check.

By the bio father being held accountable I meant as in jail time(if possible depending on statue of limitations), child support and no visitation. Considering the mans a rapist I highly doubt the court of law would even entertain the idea of visitation rights.

Who is to say she is was actually rape. She’s a proven who instantly goes for the sympathy card. She could have easily lied about that to make up for the fact that she cheated on her bf and got pregnant. With this type of person you need documentation. If no police and no rape kit can’t take it as a FACT.

I think she's lying about the rape. At no point was a criminal case mentioned against the perpetrator, who should also be the one she filed for child support against. Years ago I had a girlfriend break up with me via txt msg. About 1 year later, she called me from a new number, and claimed she got raped by a guy she started dating after me. All to try to get sympathy to see if I would take her back. Women will use the rape claim on a new man to instantly gain sympathy no questions asked. If they say they haven't reported it to police and have a case number, you should be very wary.

Listen again. She didn't file for support...the STATE did when she applied for short-term government assistance. Be careful with what you believe about her being raped because God forbid it happens to you, and strangers give you the same energy you're putting out.

No, you go ahead and be that person. I don't believe her either. At no point does she state that she reported a rape or filed charges for such a heinous crime. Unfortunately, there are women who know all they have to do is say they were raped, and they will garner sympathy no questions asked and most people won't feel comfortable discussing of inquiring further. My exwife did this as well. While I was deployed, she confided in my mother that she cheated while I was away. My mother warned her she would tell me if my wife didn't do it herself. When I got back, my wife told me she was raped. I later found out from my mother that my wife admitted originally that she cheated that it was consensual. Years later, my wife also admitted to me that she engaged in girl on girl action with another married female friend who's house she would frequently hang out at at night. She didn't feel that was cheating because it was with another female.
