I haven't watched this series but what I can tell is that Hardin had no right to publish Tessa's life without asking her consent. It's about HER not him. Tessa's opinion mattered. Seriously their relationship in this movie is so stressing, they're just hurting eachother by being together. What I suggest is that they should take a break, time will heal everything. And if they truly love eachother, they'll meet again.

Tessa can be upset about not knowing that Hardin was going to publish his journal as a book…… but she should not leave him because if it. His writing was his form of private therapy throughout their relationship journey. He’s becoming a better person because of his transparency through the book which can help others who experience serious pitfalls in their love journeys. She’s not in the same emotional deep place as Hardin. He always told her someday you may know what I’m writing. She has to consider the importance of these notations to him. Although the courtesy of her knowing beforehand could’ve helped her understand better about it all. She still might not have agreed with publishing their story from his perspective….. it occurred to Hardin to expose it during his therapy sessions with others and then to the world in book form. A real deal example of a very torrid unconditional love. Until Tessa ended it ! Kudos to Hardin! A very mature decision!

This aint it. IF he kept it private and she looked at it and got mad ... then yeah thats on her. I mean even if he just showed it to the people at therapy... But he didnt keep it private, he sold her and his story without asking/showing her first. As she says he put details about her dad in there... didnt take that out.... thats not his story to tell. Not only that, but he is profiting off her trauma. Not to mention they were not even together when he decided to pubish it. I mean i think she has every right to be mad. Imagine u walk into a book store and theres just a book about you that your ex wrote without telling you. Thats fucked up. And he didnt even tell her himself, she had to find out by seeing the book...

As a writer, I feel compelled to point out that no matter how you feel about the character or what he has done, AFTER is not Tessa’s story. Yes, she is in it because she was part of his life. But ultimately, this is Hardin’s story. And he is entitled to own, write, and publish it, if he so chooses. Writers take from their real lives all the time. Tessa has a right to have feelings about his decision. She has the right to tell her own version of events. But she has no claim on his ability to tel his story just because she played a role in it.

What Hardin did was wrong and yea it's his own fault but honestly in my opinion, it was Hardin's father's fault that Hardin is the way he is and there is no lie here when I say that tessa also put him through some hard times(spot).l, yes there are times when tessa was there for hardin but I feel like she should've given more patience with hardin and the fact that she did some decisions without consulting Hardin like going to London was kind if messed up. Hardin loves tessa a lot but he just has a wrong mind. I know that hardin did wrong stuff to tessa but hardin has it worse.Trauma from when he was a child and I dont think it's easy to get rid of a memory like that. I dont blame him😖😢 Another Edit: yes I know hardin should've respected privacy and I'm kinda mad at him for that but I still don't hold a grudge against hardin.
