It sure is funny how is most regular episodes of He-Man, Skeletor is defeated so much you have to wonder why he is considered such a big threat to begin with... ...Yet when he is the "Good Guy" protecting children, he is suddenly an OP Badass on par with He-Man himself. (Guess "Good Magic" really IS stronger than "Evil Magic.")

I watch this episode semi-frequently because it’s so funny, and every time, even though I’ve never watched the He-Man show, Phelan’s joy about Christmas Skeletor is just infectious.

Honestly, I watched this show all the time as a kid and watched the Christmas special a crap ton of times. No regrets in the slightest because of Christmas Skeletor.

This video was a pure laugh riot from start to finish, definitely a lot funnier than the Nostalgia critics review. The only gripe I have is that there was no acknowledgment about the very..............phallic shape of Hordak`s ship. I still can't believe that this image made it past the censors, especially after the giant metal arm grabs it. XD

The funniest thing about the Masters of the Universe characters was how every time there was a new character concept there was always a hero and villain version (Stinker/Moss Man, Jujitsu/Claw, etc...) including battle damage He-Man/Skeletor, etc... it just always amused me. It was also funny to me that during the first wave or so they couldn't seem to decide if Zodiac was good, evil or neutral. He had Skeletor feet and was original placed with Skeletor and his men on the packaging but then in the mini-comics and stuff he was often shown as being some neutral cosmic figure like DC's Metron or something. Also, there was this whole weird thing about Tela in the comics, when she was wearing her snake armor being identified as the Sorceress of Grayskull (before the cartoons came out) like her with her armor on was a totally different person with it off. Weird, wild stuff in the early days. :)

I loved this special. My friend and I both sat and watched it while skyping. Of course we were laughing at it.

I loved this show as a kid. And still do, so much nostalgia and camp. And I had the hots for Teela, nice that I had a female role model like her growing up, someone who was not only a soldier but a captain in charge of troops. Though I don't remember her doing that much in practice.

i think the most memorable she-ra episode for me is the one where swiftwind forgets he's a horse and is bitching about if his foal isn't born on unicorn island, it'll be born as just a normal horse and not a unicorn. what difference does it make when swiftwind is spirit, the HORSE that only temporarily turns into a unicorn when she-ra transforms!?!? and according to the toys, he doesn't really turn into a unicorn because the horn is just part of the mask he wears. oi! not to mention the HORRIBLE message of whining about your kid not being born as what you want it to be, which was way too similar to people who throw a fit over their baby's gender.

my favorite moment in this is when Phelous throws a screaming fit over the name "Cutter"?
