Because it’s very inspired by Taskmaster, I can only assume the live aspect was incorporated to be like how Taskmaster has a live audience when reacting to tasks. Also they’re streamers so kinda makes sense it’s a stream. But I agree makes much more sense for it to be a video.

As long as they keep it in the same format where they don't cut it I'm down. I like the pacing of the VOD's better than the vids which is why I watch the VOD.

Absolutely, though I really hope that doesn’t mean we only get the heavily edited version. But from what Lud said here, it does sound like it will essentially be like the vods except just with no breaks, so that’s fine by me

Imma be honest, I think taking unpaid intern off of livestream is a bad idea. Yeah, he'll prob gain more views on the actual vid vs the livestream but this is the first production he's put on in a WHILE that has chat involvement in it in the same way that Hivemind did which imo adds an entirely different element to the videos bc you have no idea what chaos chat is going to decide to choose. Including the viewers in the experience adds something that Mogul Money just never had, and I hope unpaid intern doesn't follow that same path. Ludwig is great, but having the entire community involved is always gonna be a higher tier vid for me.

If I can throw my 2 cents here, I personally don't like the edited version of unpaid intern. I think it's edited down too much and has weird zooms and stuff. The original vod is way better in my opinion and is already pretty concise (with breaks removed of course).

I didn't get recommend the Unpaid Intern ep at all so I didn't even realize it was out, and when I went to your channel to find it even knowing what the thumbnail looked like, I still skimmed it visually thinking it was you reacting to Wubby content.

My only concern with releasing only the edited version of Unpaid Intern is that itll be over edited. When I go back go watch Mogul Money occasionally watch the VODs instead of the edited videos because the editing ruins the flow and actually makes it feel cheaper. So long as the editing is restricted to only removing 100% dead air (not a half-second in the middle of a conversation, but like a 5 minute break) then yeah it should be fine.

Professional divers don't use the bubbles to soften the impact when diving. Instead it is actually so that the divers can more easily see the water. The reflective surface can make it hard to tell if you are looking at the sky or the water, the bubbles make it obvious where the water is. It is an extremely common misconception (19:10)

They actually do use bubble to dampen and lessen impact when training diving, just look up pool bubbler spargers. However you are not wrong as in actual competition it is just a bubbler for where to dive.

I think the move to stop streaming Unpaid Intern is a solid one. I have to scrub through the breaks anyways if I don't catch it live, so editing will be nice. It gives you the opportunity to make the product tighter and more well rounded, just like your thick dumper in that instagram story.

i watch both live and vid for unpaid intern, and definitely preferred the live but considering i didn't like the pausing on the last one (imo shows like taskmaster do good by editing in breaks instead of around them) and i watch taskmaster/mogul jeopardy as videos anyway i guess it'll be fine to test a vid only

Instead of doing a premiere or a simple livestream, maybe a members only stream might be a cool compromise? Those who value watching live the most can still watch it, but the biggest part of the audience has to wait for the video. Also if there are any chat related challenges, the chat is a bit more curated from the get-go.

Interesting to see the performance of videos made out of streams change over time since you also have to factor in that Ludwig now streams on the same platform as he uploads videos. The beauty of Twitch was still having a slightly different audience who can consume it in an edited format, but now they don’t have to switch platforms so two separate pieces of content don’t need to exist anymore.
