Here are seven additional unmistakeable signs the guy is not interested: 1.) Any time you happen to be walking together, he will walk in front of you, and talks without looking at you. This doesn’t have to be an actual date - you two could be walking to your cars after a class, or after work, or leaving a party. 2.) If you and the guy are having an FWB, he will rarely, if ever, kiss you and he’ll want to go DTB (directly to bed) and leave immediately after. 3.) He rarely if ever says your name. 4.) He never asks you questions about your life, and your conversations are all about him and his life. 5.) And, of course, the sign you’ve already provided, but it bears repeating, he rarely makes prolonged eye contact. 6.) His texts are a dead-end. If you share an amusing story or a restaurant or movie review, if he responds at all, he will send a 1-3 word text that ends the conversation. 7.) Reread his texts. How many times do you see the word “you”?

it's so SO annoying when guys choose to only communicate with me via instagram or other social media platforms. If the first thing someone asks me for is my social media handle instead of my number, that's an automatic red flag for me

I was texting a guy rather consistently for two/three weeks because I was busy and he was flying out to visit family for a week. When we finally set a date, he texts me the day of with: “hey, I left some things at a friends house. She won’t be available until later tonight. Can we take a rain check?” I’m not a dummy. I played it calm and said “sure” and deleted everything I had of him. If someone can’t commit to a date after flirting for that long and it wasn’t due to a real emergency, he’s just not that into you and DROP HIM. immediate red flag here.

The problem is women sometimes won’t listen even if the man is being direct.

I had to ask him to not walk too far ahead of me, I had to ask him to hold my hand, I had to ask him to kiss me, I had to ask him to spend time with me. That's not even all. Is that too much to ask for in a relationship? NEXT!

I don't even bother playing the "How do I get him to call/text me," game. If he wants you, he WILL text or call you in a timely manner. Stop wasting time on these low effort guys. It only takes me about a week to spot a low effort male nowadays. If you don't learn to spot them early on, be prepared to get strung along.

I can definitely attest to #2, for sure!! This particular individual had been trying to get me to be intimate with him when I was just trying to get to know him. He used the lines to the effect of "Its just the way how I express my feelings for you" and "Why don't we explore how we feel for each other physically first?" He interspersed these statements with vague hints of wanting a relationship. He accepted a job offer out of state, and within that last week before he moved, his tone changed to, "I'm not attracted to you in 'that way'. Let's just be friends." I won't even touch on the standard-issue ghosting that followed. At best, I'm expecting him to pull a #8

My ex blamed the distance between us for ending things. Everything was always on HIS terms. When he pulled back - He ended things.

Patrick made it so easy to forget someone you love. This is very difficult to stop a relationship with someone, you love even if he does not love you, it is very difficult to stop contacting him.. very difficult, this is feeling, you cannot helping to love this guy, you need years to start forgetting in thinking of him.. this is mentally very difficult.. very hard, even if you know he does not love you, still, you cannot help in loving him, to stop in contact with him,. it is even harder.

About 7 months ago I reconnected with the love of my youth (me:16 him:18) after 29 years of losing contact. I thought based on him chasing me non-stop, that he wanted something meaningful with me but he pulled the old “I’m not ready” routine after I had several visits with him (we are long distance). He just got out of a 13 year relationship less than a year ago (he indicated it was on and off throughout that time). He never wanted to marry her even though they have a 4 year old daughter together. He wanted me to move to his town and even to move in with him and I put the brakes on that idea. What I don’t get is that after my ultimatum about me feeling like I was just a rebound chase, he tried to reassure me I was not. I have purposely faded away yet he keeps calling me constantly and seems to think we have more than we do. I feel like we can only be friends but sometimes I want to abandon that thought too because he seems to think I don’t have other “options”. I chose not to date anyone right now although I gave him serious consideration. Now I’m just flat out pissed off about the fact he has wasted my time. I got suckered because we had a history but clearly it really meant nothing to him, it just became a manipulation tool for him to get some sort of ego boost.

I’ve been able to avoid these long winded situations with guys by applying one ☝️ principle, avoiding having them as friends or forever love 🥰 interest. I’ve eliminated male friendships by making this unique distinction with boundaries

I had a guy tell me he likes me then his friend called me and told me he didn’t like me.

I got out of a 10yr relationship some time ago. Then I just now started to do the whole "online meeting, dating" stuff that happens nowadays. Idk wtf I'm doing lol or how to tell when a dude is being serious about things or not. I'm currently semi interested in one specific guy. We used to talk years ago. And he sent me a message about three weeks go again. We started catching up etc. Then he set up a simple date within the first two weeks. We met up, had dinner & a movie. Simple stuff. Then we had made plans to hang out again within 4 days after the first date. The day came & everything & then he tells me he has to cancel cos of x & y reason. 🙄 I told him what I did. And then started to ignore him the rest of the day. And he sent me multiple texts pretty consecutively, throughout the day. Some said if I was upset, or that he probably blew the trust I could have in him. And that he wanted to make plans for another date during the week days. (The second date was gonna be on a Saturday mind you) And I simply told him no. 🙃 Now, idk of he's being for real on the crap he says or how into this he is or not. And I can't really tell. After getting out of my relationship after 10yrs idk what dudes are all about nowadays. And it's confusingly annoying lol. But these series definitely help see things & act a certain way when appropriate. But I need more help than this. 😂 these videos are just the surface in trying to figure out these dudes. Especially the one that I'm actually kinda interested in. 🥴

I was just talking to a guy for a little over a month. We went on a couple of dates, but last night he sent a text telling me he isn’t ready to date and we were moving too fast. A text! My reply...”ok”. Then I deleted the text thread and his number because I didn’t want to over think and say more. If he ever tries to hit me up again... that will be a hard NO. A red flag is definitely someone who doesn’t have the guts to talk to me face to face or at least over the phone. Plus, if he had been “paying attention” to me, he would have known first hand that my genuine kindness and appreciation does not mean I am falling for him. I am NOT the type to fall into a relationship quickly. It is definitely his stuff and not me.

I’m dating an actual Luddite! He only has a home phone, no cell phone. As an older woman (57) this isn’t that hard for me because it’s basically just like it was for me when I was younger. So, obviously, he doesn’t text or message or insta me. He does travel as much as me to see each other but he doesn’t look me in the eyes much either. Still I think he just has lower self esteem because he looks me in the eyes more now than he did at the start.

Hi! Had a great great date with someone I've met online. We didnt chat much, we matched late last year but i cut it off before the first date, i can't remember why anymore (i asked him because he still have our conversations) so he offered to pick me up at home (didn't do that for safety reasons) we went to dinner and things flowed sooo naturally. Like freaky naturally. It felt great. He wanted to kiss me but was a true gentleman and didnt. Now, im getting kind of frustrated because he says he felt very attracted to me and felt a great connection as well but i hardly hear him throughout the day. It makes me really feel insecure. I have a date tonight with someone else. I asked him to forward me how it ended the last time because i feel it was the lack of communication back then as well... I am online dating a guy and he says he loves me and loves me all the time but rarely makes conversations with me and he doesnt really show...he loves me? He just seems manipulative and sometimes when we're actually hanging out it only ends up with, you-know-what and kissing. I like him a lot but sometimes im just angry with him and dont think he loves me at all, no matter how much he says he does. He's wishy-washy (lol) and he once used "ill kill myself" against me and guilt trips me a lot even when he says he isnt. I know i should end things with him, but i want to see if he's changing.
