I have fond memories of watching Regular Show with my little brother. He was 10 when the show aired and I was 16. I was already dating at the time and the show was a good show case of things to come when it came to dating in ways other shows we watched didn’t show (kids next door, ed, edd, eddy, SpongeBob etc). Mordecai was a good example of “what not to do” in most cases when it came to dating and girls. “Steak me Amadeus” left both my brother and I crushed. CJ gave us hope. And Mordecai made us facepalm so hard when he cheated. My brother and I both had debates over which girl was best for Mordecai. I haven’t seen the show in years and I never watched the whole thing through (I was probably 19 by the time steak me Amadeus aired and I jumped into working instead of college and was having my own adventures chasing girls and saving money so my interest in the show started to dwindle) Overall I hope most of those “don’ts” from Mordecai taught a lesson to many of the viewers. And honestly one of the biggest lessons I learned was from Rigby and that was “You gotta pack a mint, bro” 😅 Great video, great show It was from this video that I actually found out that Mordecai ended up marrying a whole different person very cool.

Tbh I don’t think friends to lovers is as romantic as some people think it would be. Take any one of your existing friends and ask yourself if you’d actually want to be romantically involved with them. Also it’s so circumstantial. I’d rather have someone be up-front about what they want than play the friend game. Coz than they get upset when you get in a relationship with “Chad” who made his intentions known off rip

Mannnnn I remember pulling my own mordecai moments. One of the worst was when this girl who clearly liked me, was in my house, alone in my room that was in the basement. Legs SPREAD just waiting for me and I was too pussy to do anything 😂😂 god damn that was sad like ITS RIGHT THERE!!! Don’t be scared homies make your move!! It’s better to upfront with your intentions and feelings. Once you or someone else already views that person as a friend it’s kinda hard to see them any other way. Speaking from experience where a woman I liked college who also liked me, it we never done anything about it. Then years later as we’re talking about it and possibly seeing where things could lead she just couldn’t see unsee me as the friend she’s known all these years. Where as obviously I’m older and wiser, I’m upfront with my feelings and intentions hence why it also worked with my current girlfriend. She loves it too the directness, who wouldn’t? It’s a lil selfish to hide your feelings from someone in a way. Of course you’re worried how they would react but you’re dealing with all this strife and they just think yall just hanging out feel me? Plus chemistry is more important than anything, if you really like the person tell them. Don’t wait cause they ain’t gonna wait for you.
