Best fishing channel out there. Hadn’t been fishing for nearly 3 years u til yesterday. Only had 3 perch but it resparked my love for the sport n I wouldn’t have gone out on the water if it wasn’t for rewatching your park lake video

Brilliant session, well done! Agree with you about catching Barbel on the float, used to have great times in the 90's on the Kennett doing that, stick float on the gravel runs down the inside of the streamer weed with double caster over a bed of hemp - Sadly, not the same now due to Otters and Signal Crayfish .

@@nute2706 I did my first trip for 12 years to Aldermaston a couple of weeks ago - No Chub or Barbel but I did have 4 pristine Grayling including a new PB plus Perch to half a pound, a couple of Dace and a Roach.

@@cliffdixon6422 you have given me hope, thanks! I will persevere - I’ve really been targeting the barbel and not had a single one, but you’d normally expect a chub or two in the meantime. I’ve been at Benyons and another section just down from aldremaston. Tight lines.

Only just got around to watching this video. Takes me back to my younger days living in Western Australia chasing black bream (totally different beast than your bream) and flathead on lures in the Swan-Canning River system. Absolutely lovely video, Carl.

Great little spot that known by a few of us locals as the ghost Bridge 9 times out of 10 always produces a few fish and you boys certainly made the most of it love watching the hereford wye videos as its my stretch and I love to see people catching from it me and the boy certainly enjoyed this video

Have you tried the stretch of the wye that runs along side lucksall caravan park? I’d really recommend trying by the bridge there brilliant spot
