I currently own the Radiolink RC4GS and haven’t had any problems with it. Pros for me are it’s ability to use a 7.4v 20C 1000mAh Lipo battery instead of the 4 AA batteries. Just remove and unplug the battery tray, plug in the Lipo battery (uses the same type 2-pin connector as the battery tray and Velcro the Lipo battery so it will be secure inside the compartment. It has an unbelievable signal range. I have yet to run my Landslide XTE to a distance where it lost the radio signal. Very responsive even at a great distance. Only con I have is the fold-down/up antenna. I’m afraid I’m going to break it off. Awesome comparison video! I realize everyone has their own opinions and when I watch videos like these, I look at the explanation of features and the designs. It’s up to the person purchasing what they like/dislike. Enjoyed your video. 😉👍

GT5 sold me because if you're into building rock crawlers, the jog wheel gives you instant access to 4-wheel steering straight out of the box. Just hook up the rear servo to channel 3 on the RX, then twirl the TX jog dial to access the CRAWLER menu and.... voila.... you immediately get access to 4 new steering modes. No fiddling, no faffing about with funny hacks or complicated stuff. Don't think you can find this feature elsewhere at the same price point. It's well built given the price, it doesn't creak, it isn't bulky and it simple to use. The NB4 Noble is far superior with its metal construction, but since I rock crawl just for shits and giggles I really can't justify coughing out out the extra dough for advanced features I won't use. I own both the Radiolink AT10-II and Flysky NV14 Nirvana radios, and the positive experience I gained from flying my drones with the Flysky led me to buy the GT5.

Thank's for the Information and Awesome Comparison for these 2 different brand's... Have 3 Radiolink Transmitter/Receiver's (2) 6 channel and (1) 4 channel and can honestly say that the customer service is excellent for the Radiolink RC6GS and RC4GS but I have noticed that when using them in Crawler's sometimes the Scale brake doesn't work right away on the RC6GS-V2 it's like the trigger has a major delay although I've checked all the throttle settings and found nothing to help with the neutral setting...so now I'm waiting on my Flysky FS5GS 6 Channel to come from Amazon (just under $65) to test it out... I'm like you with the 3 position switches on the Radiolink RC6GS and that's what sold me on them plus the updates available on the firmware ... ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing 👍😎👍 AOAH 🌟 RCF4L 🙏 Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend

Good honest review. A couple of things though is the Flysky has a 20 model memory, not 10, and also they now have a manual on their website. The Radiolink does have quite a few features for the price point though. In the end I went for the Flysky because I cants stand the feel of cheap plastics, and it has all the features that I would ever use racing, bashing or crawling without being over complicated. It feels like a much more expensive radio in my hand and is very well balanced. Thanks for the review, you did a great job!

I've been eyeballing the Radiolink RC6GS. I recently got a Redcat Gen8 and the radio that comes with it is horrible, so looking to upgrade + I want more channels so I can control lights, winch, etc. The only thing holding me back from ordering is, I don't live near any hobby stores so can't get a hands-on so have to buy online. I right hand throttle / left hand steer and tip my radio 90 degrees to the left so it's horizontal rather than vertical, and from looking at photos and videos I'm not sure if the RC6GS is going to be comfortable and usable that way.

I chose to get the RadioLink RC6GS because it claimed a range of 600 meters and I am building a WLTOYS 124018 buggy with FPV so I thought this having telemetry (RSSI, battery voltage...) would be a great radio. My disappointments: 1- Physical issues: - Radio looks and feels cheap in the hand, plastic feels flimsy, its grip is thin and has no rubber or anything, my plain simple Spektrum DX2E is by far more ergonomical, better built and feels good in the hand. - The DSC plug was off center which looked ugly and there was a large piece of dirt/crap was lodged under the screen glass and there were fingerprints under the glass. So, upon receipt of the radio I had to disassemble it, resolder the DSC connector on the board properly so its hole gets aligned with the hole in the radio body and disassembled the screen to wipe it properly and remove the dirt! 2- Functional issues: - Most disappointing functionality lack for me is the absence of a steering dual rate knob/button. i.e. there is a steering dual rate function in the menu, but you set it and it remains fixed, there is no knob or button to adjust the steering dual rate on the go which is very important to me, during speed runs I lower the rate and when I want to do offroad, more steering is always helpful. - There is no Timer function. - The telemetry car battery voltage reading is off by 0.25 volts. This is sad and unfortunate and now I am looking at getting rid of this radio especially after reading a lot of forums where everybody says the same things and apparently RadioLink don't care about their customers' feedback and won't be doing anything to resolve that. Also if you watch some youtube reviews on this radio, they are all good and positive, typical of paid commercials...

Absolutely spot on analogy with the iphone - android comparison Update: the gt5 is disappointing, only good thing about it is looks and ergonomics, everything else: radiolink; better usability and navigation through the system, more intuitive, wide range of compatible lipos, far more functions IF you need them, if not they dont get in the way, insane range, customizable buttons, trigger tension adjustments, all their receivers are rated for up to 10V and send telemetry back to the radio (lipo voltage, rx voltage and rssi signal strength) without any hassle for the user… To put it simply (and Im a HUGE fan of flysky and own 4 of their radios) the Gt5 feels like it is from the 20th century compared to the Rc6gs v2…

How can the gyro be deactivated on the BS-6.receiver? Is the bs-6 receiver waterproof/splashproof? Also, in the case of the RadioLink, are the Kyosho FHSS receivers compatibile with the RC6GS radio? I am asking this questions in the eventuality of compatibility between RadioLink and Kyosho which would make me taking into consideration the acquire of the RC6GS for the Blizzard, and keeping the GT5 for the CC-01 and other wheeled models. @@RazorRC Any idea what receivers you use with the DX5C? I run that radio and periodically I'll lose range. Usually ends up being the receiver flaking out and I replace it. I've been buying OEM receivers like the SR210, but they aren't readily available anymore so the last one I bought was a SR215 or SR315. I only use 2 channels, so doesn't matter how many it has as long as there's 2. However, I've been noticing my throttle at idle isn't "idle". No multiprotocol solutions available for car radios, unlike aircraft radios. Wonder why.

Great explanatory video, however the Radiolink is a brand with very good electronics and is much better than the Flysky. I have the Radiolink in a 1/8 Sumit traxxas and it works excellent.

I have the gt3b flysky barely used it, turned out to be junk. Bought the fs-gt5 love the features and adjustments was great for racing but, barely used it off and on over a 6 month period and it has already quit working. My advice by something else besides flysky!

It's gonna be the GT5 for me. 1. I don't need all of that fancy stuff that the radiolink has. 2. The radiolink is so ugly... 3. You can also use other cheaper flysky recievers with the GT5.

Shame he didn’t test the range properly the fly sky was at its limit at 236 metres going on others that tested it which is very close to his test in yards. The radio link is known for it range of 400 metres (440 yards)

Having my eye on a gt5 or the noble but friends who race say that the fly sky radios response is slow and they who tested it on the track was actually between half a second to a second and a half slower on their lap times compared to the futaba and Sanwa radios.. In your experience are they telling the truth?
